Amazing diverse sample of newly discovered artists!.......2001-11-16
Alternative-rock standouts include three female-fronted groups. Juliet from Santa Monica, CA presents their lush sounds with "Senses", Damsel In This Dress twist punk/ska with catchy choruses (similar to No Doubt) on "Eighty Six", and Wet gives us the sensual-goth tune "Cover Me". Rounding out the rock set are Carolina heavyweights Milo with the grungy yet melodic "Pay My Way", Rock Paper Scissors on "All Too Well", The Blinking Underdogs with the horn-filled punk tune "I Can't Go On, I Go On", and Stash with a nu-rawk tune "West Coast". Blindsyde brings rap-core from South Florida with "What It Takes", Ed Hale simply captivates the moment with "Paris", and NYC's Liquid provides straight-ahead pure rock n' roll on "Where You Are".
I would be sure to snatch up this sampler. Much of the talent are destined to famous! At the least, you will have a great mix for driving, partying, or whatever you do!!!
