About the Artist
The Madhatter and Pro first appeared on the hip-hop scene in 1996 as a part of the Staten Island rap group Arctic Crown. AC's first studio release, Chapter 13, came in 2000 and was critically acclaimed for its hard edged approach towards mainstream hip-hop. The Madhatter was born and raised on Staten Island, and attended Port Richmond high school. Their he was exposed to the elements of hip-hop, and soon became an avid fan of the culture. By the time he left High School he was deeply rooted in Rhyming, breakin', and Graffiti. Pro grew up on both Long Island and Staten Island, and became a full time SI resident in 1998. When the two came together they were still sharpening there skills as emcees on street corners and nightclubs. Since their humble beginings M&P have become staples in the NYC hip-hop community. They now fully produce and write all their music and have started and artist's studio and record label known as Trunkface Recs.
Product Description
Extra hot hip hop for the rap fan. Emcees who spit fire constantly consistently. Not old school, Not new school, but ALL School flavors converge to create an underground extravaganza for the pop conscience. Turn it up, Bob your head, and keep it real with a happy meal.
