About the Artist
Eddie Lopez. Born and raised on the East Coast of the US, he currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. Having always had the creative urge, he balances his time around his music and hand creating larege, decorative screens for interiors. Sometimes both at the same time...painting, silver-leafing and trying out his latest songs in vocal harmony while working on a decorative piece. "My music is always created ffrom the heart..." he says. "The most inspirational songs are part of my life, such as 'I'll Be There' written for the memory of my late brother." Other works on his first CD move effortlessly from dane to ballad -each one an original work, written and preformed by Eddie. "I like listening to all genres of music at home, he says, mixing up jazz, blues. oldies and even a bit of classical." "If my voice were as big as my heart I think I would sing opera" he states. "I am always looking out for stray animals who seem to gravitate right to me and I know how tough life can be for all of us at times", he continued. His first CD was a major work for him, opting to make sure his perfectionism woulr come through.
