About the Artist
Introducing, Kay Scurlock- Ferguson of Hillsborough, NC. Kay has recently completed her first solo musical project entitled " He's Calling Me Out." He's Calling Me Out is a gospel/inspirational musical project that was executively produced by Ms. Ferguson. She is also the producer, composer, and arranger, for many of the works found on the album, in addition to being the lead vocalist. Ms. Ferguson's singing experience dates back to her roots as a member of the Lipscomb Grove Church Gospel Choir. She has been a member for many years and continues her musical ministry as an active part of the choir. She is a soprano and has sang with many groups,- one of which was asked to open for the great Ms. Shirley Ceasar on several occasions. She has served as background vocalist on two albums recorded by Charles Johnson and The Revivers. More recently Kay has opened for gospel great Lee Williams, and has also opened for Trinity 5-7. Kay has recieved an undergraduate degree from North Carolina A&T State University and her graduate degree from North Carolina Central University.
