One hilariously rockin' Christmas tune.......2003-05-26

Although certainly not the ýfeel goodý hit of Christmas seasons yet to come, Vegas DeMiloýs ýSex Toys For Christmasý still goes down as one of the funniest, and best Christmas songs the rock music scene has ever been privy to. I stumbled upon this song when I was searching for funny Christmas songs on Audiogalaxy. When I saw the title ýSex Toys For Christmasý pop up, I just had to hear it. If I could reprint the lyrics here for you I would, but I couldnýt find a link for all them. Theyýre actually not that bad: ýmakin out... late on Christmas Eve / handcuffed... to the Christmas tree / through the house... there was not a sound / ýcept the gasp that I gave when she whipped out / sex toys! for Christmas!ý. Not the kind of thing you want your parents hearing, but still respectable enough to listen to and not feel ashamed or sickened with yourself. I had never heard of Vegas DeMilo before I heard this song, but would categorize their music as a mix of rock, pop and punk; though not as annoying as a Blink 182 or as grunge-felt as a Nirvana. This one song, believe it or not, spawned my liking of the band. The other song you get on this single is ýFallý, the first track and single on their most recent release, Motel California. So you get a semi-decent look into this band rather than just one song. I know youýre still probably thinking ý...2 songs for THAT price?ý, but go ahead and take a chance on this one. This is two minutes, 45 seconds (excluding the length of ýFallý) of some of the funniest stuff youýll ever hear; whether at Christmas time or not.

I heard this song on Live105 in San Francisco. It's the best Xmas song i've heard to date. Very funny....kind of Blink 182-ish, but not over the top. Also has a bit of an 80's feel to it.
