Editorial Reviews

Publisher's Weekly
"Vocalist, Paula Greenfield, who sometimes suggests Mary Chapin Carpenter and other folksingers with her smooth, honeyed voice, leads the way here..."

Product Description
“Sunnytime Soup” -- a compilation of old and new flavors featuring the sparkling entertainment personality and very versatile vocalist, Paula Greenfield. An album made with grandparents, parents and children in mind, “Sunnytime Soup” appeals to the musical tastes of all ages. There are nine different genres of music included, from songs you can rock out to, to some slow, rocking chair, get’em sleepy songs.

“Sunnytime Soup”fits beautifully into the category of family music with melodies that are strong and memorable and themes and sophisticated arrangements that appeal to children and adults.

Our remake of Melanie Safka’s song “Brand New Key” is getting radio play in the Northeast. “I Just Wanna Dance” is a favorite with the kids, and our Disneyesque song “Dreams Really Do Come True” is a classic.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars my kids beg for it!.......2004-02-02

I bought the cd based on its beautifully designed cover and found that the inside was just as colorful! A song list ranging from rock to lullabyes found my kids begging for more. It was fun, upbeat and truly different than the rest. Buy it today!

5 out of 5 stars Grandma like's it too!.......2002-07-15

My daughter and I took a trip to Asheville, North Carolina from Atlanta, Georgia with her two young children. To help keep the children entertained in the car we listened to "Sunnytime Soup". We
played it several times up and several times back. I liked it because it reminded me of some of the styles from my day and because of the messages which I think are important for children.
I also liked it because of the music! We were all singing along!
I never heard of any kind of music that could please three generations, but it did. The kids asked for again and again!
My hats off to the makers of this fine cd.
