Good, but could have been better.......2006-12-07

The first thing i didn't like was when i looked, there was only 4 of them! Not 5! What the heck happened to Libby? She was the best one in Jump5! Secong of all, there shouldn't have been 2 remixes. Why can't they come up with different songs? But, it wasn't that bad. My favorites were:

It's a Beautiful World
Mind Your HEad
Feels Like Falling
In My Heart (remix)

The only bad thing was the song Dreaming in Color. Pointless, and kinda dumb.

Well anyway you should really get this cd.This is how I would Rate the songs.
-In My Heart 9/10 It's a medium tempo song but it's good
-Just a Dream 8/10 Not one of my Favorites
-Dance with Me 10/10 One of the Best songs on the cd
-Dreaming in color 10/10 GREAT!!!!!!!!!!
-I've Got THe MUsic In ME 10/10 Another Great One
-It's a beautiful World 9/10 Awsome
-MInd Your Head 10/10 I love this one
-Feels Like Falling 7/10 It's ok
-Dnce With Me ( Barnyard Remix) 10/10 This Is My Favorite one I love dancing to this one

OK, But Needs Work.......2006-05-30

The songs are catchy and stick in my head, but who writes those cruddy lyrics? I mean "Mind your head, get out of bed"-I can think up a better rhyme than that. Also, what's with the BARNYARD remix? Isn't the song bad enough without adding a fiddle?

I Love Jump 5!.......2005-12-27

I think Jump 5 is the best music. Dreaming in Color is especially good for Christians who want to listen to something more teen-ish. I'm 13 and I think that this CD is very cool. I got it for Christmas and I especially like the words," You're reigning in my heart." That means they truly are Christians to know that God is reigning in their hearts and mine!

I recommened every single jump5 c.d cause they are probly the most talented singers of these days. They have great vocals!

Great music.......2004-02-16

This is a really great CD. It's a good blend of traditional native North American rhythms with modern blues, jazz, and dance. If you're put off by the very traditional but screechy powwow singing, there is little of that here except for the track Powwow Medley. There is no wandering flute music and there is absolutely no silly New Agey stuff (ala Walela). What you will find is modern music tuned for the native ear. Generally the tunes are upbeat and will have you tapping your finger if not out of your chair dancing. The lyrics are positive and touching. If people at raves were dancing to "Before, Now, and After" we would probably live in a very different world. The track "History 101" is a fantastic history lesson for us all. I give the CD 4 stars instead of 5 because there are times when the production quality seems a little off (too much bass here, losing the left track there). Also some of the music seems a bit specific and hard to identify with - e.g., "Silent until Now." This CD is hard to find but very worthwhile. I wish Songcatchers would make more CDs.

A Hidden Gem!.......2001-03-26

When I first heard this band play live, now called the Sean Philbin Band, I was totally amazed! I have followed their progress over the last few months and I must say this band is on their way.

The entirely original music is pure, honest and harmonic. This is a refreshing change from the current pop music scene. This band reminds me of John Hiatt, Bruce Springsteen, the Eagles and some James Taylor, however, they are definitely originals!

This is a CD to own and enjoy, and also a band to follow. They are such a great band live! If you live in the Seattle area, you should watch for them!
