I suppose 4 out of 5 stars is appropriate, since I found 4 out of the 5 songs REALLY good. I actually pick up this CD back in 2000, but after listening to the first song, I put it in my CD stand and probably have not listened to it until now. I decided to listen to it all the way through and give it one more chance.

I'm still not impressed with Track 1. The lyrics don't impress me, and the whining voice does not match the rest of the CD. BUT... the rest of the CD is great. REALLY great. Rocky ballads with simplistic-yet-poetic lyrics and aching themes. And his voice is now soothing and silky.

Perfect to have playing while sitting next to the fire on a crisp evening. Cuddle with your soulmate. Talk things through with a love lost and newly found. Or sit alone and stare into the fire, comforted and not lonely.

If you can find a copy of this CD, please do. It is worth it. Listen to tracks 2-5 first.
