About the Artist
After fronting local Dallas bands for several years, singer/songwriter David Stine began working on his own project, Fisher, with producer David Castell. Three and a half years of work and countless sessions with myriad musicians resulted in Twelve Windows. The recording was completed at the end of 1996, but it was never released.

Product Description
Twelve Windows is an eclectic compilation of songs intended to take the listener on a journey of Self discovery. The music is modern. The lyrics are intentionally allegorical and utilize imagery and symbols based on early Judeo- Christian traditions. Twelve Windows should appeal to those who are bored with current "Christian Rock", as well as those interested in original, alternative, modern rock. Twelve windows contains performances by the following musicians: Kelly Brown (Frankly Scarlett) Jason Bucklin (Cafe Noir) John Bush (New Bohemians, Critter Buggin') Brant Cole, Robert Cooper (Perfect, Pete Droge) Mike Daane (Sarah Hickman, Ugly Mustard) Mike Dillon (Billygoat) Al Emert (Ten Hands, Brave Combo) Norbert Gerl (Cafe Noir) Earl Harvin (Rubber Bullet, Seal) Gale Hess (Cafe Noir) Freddie Jones, Chad Lovell (Course of Empire) Mitch Maxwell, Brian Miller (Blender) Darrell Phillips (Sister 7) Reggie Rueffer (Spot) Jeff Scroggins, Paul Slavens (Ten Hands) Lyles West (Cafe Noir).

Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Now Called "Fisher Texas", NOT Fisher from GE soundtrack.......2002-03-31

This band must not have checked to see if the name Fisher was registered before putting out this cd....a nice bunch of lads, I'm sure, but no relation in any way, shape or form to the band fronted by singer Kathy Fisher.

3 out of 5 stars NOT on THE SAME FISHER.......2000-11-17

Don't know too much about this particular band... But it's is certainly NOT the FISHER from the GREAT EXPECTATIONS CD. Some reviewers, should be more accurate before telling their opinion of vocalists, and limited knowledge.

5 out of 5 stars Twelve Windows for Twelve Parts of You.......2000-06-17

Having heard this band on the Great Expectations Soundtrack ("Breakable"), I ended up finding out they had more songs, and got this CD. Unlike "Breakable" this CD has their male singer doing the majority of the vocals, however you can hear the female lead on most of the tracks.

Each track displays different genre of music and style of using various instruments. Each one, reflecting the variety that can be evident within one's self. Not to mention the various things that go on within one's mind or aspects of one's life.

It's a great CD that you will not only be able to listen to and enjoy but find reflective, thought-provoking or encouraging.

4 out of 5 stars well done lyrically, instrumentally, and musically.......1999-05-01

This collection of rock/pop ballads/anthems keeps your attention and the lyrics are thought-enriching. Each tune draws you into the music without being full of hooks. I highly recommend this album if you like genuine music that you will hear AND feel.
