Product Description
WELCOME TO LULA'S CAFE

Cafes around the world have long been a place where people meet to talk about what matters most: what moves the soul -- hopes, dreams, love, joy, happiness, camaraderie, concern for the world, even personal loss. It is fitting that an album that paints these emotions in vivid musical color is named after such an institution.

Inspired by stories shared in cafes around the world, performed by some of the top musicians in the industry, Lulas Caf takes us on a poignant ride through contemporary adult life with driving rhythm, beautiful orchestration, memorable melodies, and above all, compelling music. Opening with a powerful anthem of self-renewal, the album charts a mans growth and triumph over personal loss. In one of the album's most moving songs, Way the World Works, we hear a fathers soulful lament about his inability to shield his children from harm. This makes it easy to understand that the composer is a father of four. But when we also consider that the creator of this poignant portrait of the seasons of the human heart has been happily married for more than ten years, we are forced to acknowledge the empathetic power of his creative genius. Indeed, while Lulas Caf may touch deep emotional chords, it never loses sight of happiness and redemption. In all ten tracks, Andrew ! Jay has effectively communicated the great redemptive promise of music itself.
