About the Artist
Frank Camp has built a solid reputation as a songwriter that delivers undeniable hooks. This most likely is credited to his vast music background. Artists such as The Beatles, CSNY, the Counting Crows, and Toad the Wet Sprocket helped lay the foundation from which he creates his songs. Lyrically, Frank has always been known to express his experiences well; getting the message across without being a storyteller.

Frank Camp has performed all over the United States with his former band, the simpletons. Everywhere from SXSW in Austin, TX to the Eat'm Conference in Las Vegas; New Orleans House of Blues to Generation eXpo in Dallas, TX; and all through the Midwest and East Coast.

Frank finally decided to break away from the simpletons in 1999 to embark on a solo career. It turned out to be a great decision, and a liberating one. Frank is currently performing throughout the Eastern U.S. in support of his debut solo CD, Ignoring the Obvious. The band, who really set the tone for the CD, is made up of some of the finest musicians in the midwest. Frank's NACA college tour will resume in the fall of 2000.
