About the Artist
Ronn and Kerry Williams have been involved in music for most of their lives. Ronn, a music director, enjoys writing music that will bring people to know the love of God. Kerry, a now stay at home mom, enjoys singing and raising their little girl Grace. Both Ronn and Kerry have a great love for good music and worked three years to make this record happen.

This band combines the best elements from bands like Dave Matthews Band, Matchbox 20 and even a little bit of Billy Joel thrown in for good measure. It all sounds really great.

Boy Without a Name is a tremendous debut recording for Friday's Child. Not only can this 3 man band play memorable notes, Tommy Walker will blow you away with his soul searching, intelligent lyrics. From the hard hitting song Attention to the soothing, acoustically bent North by Northeast, these songs will leave you wishing for more. I've heard that they will be releasing a new CD sometime during the summer of 1999. I can't wait! Until then, I will continue to catch them in concert halls and clubs in Manhattan and the rest of the Tri-State area.

From the suburbs of Chicago comes a suburban Chicago band that is just that - boring, nothing cutting edge, innovative, new or even immitated particularly well.

Atomic Dreamland is a all but a very late cool name with disapointing songs to accompany it with.

From the beginning to the end, this is a great cd from a band out of Chicago. With it's power guitars, backed up by "vicious" vocals. Cruching rythm, this baby takes you on spacey-pop/rock journey. I highly recomend it.

The evolution of a great singer........2002-12-03

In her lifetime of 96 years, American contralto Marian Anderson was celebrated perhaps more as a crusader for the victims of a colour prejudice in their home country than as a gifted and well-trained singer. The emphasis was probably misplaced. When interviewed in her old age she said, "I was never a fighter". She was certainly a superb singer, as this not-to-be-missed Naxos bargain allows C21st listeners to hear.

It comprises a varied selection of items from her repertoire recorded between 1924 and 1944. The two earliest items do not show her at her best. Slow moving Negro spirituals, they cruelly expose the presence of some ugly vowel and consonant sounds at this stage of her career. Thereafter, however, and into the electric recording era, diction and tone are exemplary. Only six of the items were recorded in the USA, mostly in poor sound quality. The 1944 item, an aria from Massenet's "Le Cid", provides a glimpse into Marian Anderson's potential as an opera singer, something she was unable to realize in the USA until the very end of her career.

Of course, the item that became this singer's "signature tune" is here. Pruned of some of its music, and of the tenor counterpoint provided in its second half by Samson, the extract from "Samson et Dalila" is sung in English as "Softly awakes my heart". Once heard, this performance will gently but firmly insinuate intself into your consciousness, your memory and your soul and live with you forever.

Some people will never get it!.......2003-08-08

Okay, so I've been reading these on-line reviews and I whould have to agree with most people on here. This is a wonderful album. Like most people on here, this record was given to me as a gift by the artists family. It has been a huge blessing to me. The words are to the point and most people, I think, can relate in one way or another. As for this lady that says "I don't get it"-she's missing the point. Some of the songs were written for those people who "don't get it"! Yes, it may not appeal to everyone, but the message should. I highly reccommend this record to anyone who is thinking of buying it. I have had the record for almost two years now. I thought for sure Ronn & Kerry would have a new album out. That's why I checked out Amazon. Honestly, like most other people, I can't wait to see what's next! Oh, and just to keep with the trend of the reviews; My favorite songs are "You Have Loved Me, Lead the Way, and He Will". There is truely something about "He Will"!

It's alright..........2003-07-26

I don't know what I thought this album was. It's not really the style of music that I normally listen to, but I did like some songs. I seem to always skip "Presence of the Power" because it is annoying. I just didn't get it. The good songs on the CD are: "He Knows Your Name, Right Here-Right Now, Inside, and This Rugged Road". I would have changed the order of songs, but hey, everyone has their opinion, right. If you are into music like this, you may enjoy this CD. I guess I thought it was something else than was it is.

It's been a while!.......2003-07-17

Okay, so I love this CD, but I need some new stuff. I would love to hear what's next to come. I hope that it won't be long. My Kids LOVE this cd, and I have to admit that I have most of the songs memorized. I just ordered one for my mom from Amazon. I look forward to some new music. I would love to hear more songs like "He Will"! What a song!! It lifts me up evertime.

Power Beyond Words.......2003-04-01

I know Ronn & Kerry personally and know how hard they worked on this album. When I received the finished version of the CD I couldn't stop listening to it. There is so much said beyond the lyrics. Perhaps my favorite is 'Lead the Way.' It says so much about our life as people on this planet and how small we can feel. But it let's us know that God is aware of us and will lead the way home. I will be forever grateful to them for this CD!

Super Stuff.......2003-02-27

This album has been more than a blessing to me since I recieved it in January. I would easily recommend it to anyone who is looking for some nice new music to listen to. I especially enjoy the song "Lead the Way"; I can relate to the words. It seems that every song in the record was written with an effort for quality. The lyrics are wonderfully put together. WHEN DOES THE NEXT ALBUM COME OUT???
