this album was a lot of fun. The beats were right on, the lyrics were positive and the whole album was just good fun. I totally recommend it to anyone who wants something good, positive and new.

Carlebach meets Grandmaster Flash...right on!.......2002-06-20

Etan G. rocks the house on his debut CD. A well-produced effort. Etan offers a very creative fusion of new-school Carlebach with some old/new-school rap. Some nice Hendrix-style guitar hooks thrown into the rock and roll stew. The best thing about 'Southside' is a healthy dose of unadulterated fun and humor. Gefilte funk that's fun to listen to...looking forward to hearing more.
