Music is inspired in the Rich Mullins style. Great guitar licks and hammer dulcimer make this one a keeper. More radio stations should play his music. Christian music lovers are missing out by not hearing his music and his testimony. GO TO PHEYLAND.TRIPOD.COM to hear more.

This is a CD by a man that obviously thinks he is God's gift to modern music. The comparison to Rich Mullins is totally uncalled for. Just because they both play a hammer dulcimer does not warrant a comparison. Rich was a phenomonal musician and mind-blowing songwriter. Pheyland is a mediocore musician and a mind-numbing (i.e., BORING) songwriter. I would rather listen to a person using the restroom than listen to this "album"...

On the second thought, I believe they are the same thing.

This is just a great CD. Pheyland writes from the heart and sings from the heart. He is a talented musician and it shows on this CD. The style of songs vary and they all touch your life in some way. Knowing Pheyland personally just makes all the songs mean so much more. Listening to this CD you can learn alot about yourself too.

Amazing acoustic work.......2000-02-29

Pheyland Barthen's CD is so diverse. You get great acoustic music from the hammer dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, and great acoustic guitar work with electric guitar for some flare. The words to the songs have ministered to me in so many ways. Talking to PHeyland personally, his heart is so into the ministry of the music.
