SolÅce, born Jefford Jason Humes, was conceived on February 24, 1978 within Belize City, Belize. After immigrating to the United States and residing within Chicago, IL SolÅce initiated classical piano training with Sue Sigal of Hyde Park in 1985 and excelled, being awarded three gold, two silver, and one bronze medal from the Chicago Sonata/ Sonatina Competition/ Festival, four Gold Level Award Winner at the Regional Worldwide Church of God Talent Showcase, and has performed twice at the Chicago Students Jazz Show and three times for the Hyde Park Food Kitchen Recital/ Fund Raiser. Product Description
Within his latest 12-song, self-entitled project, SolÅce displays his musical diversity, but maintains the technically sonorous style that is relevant for the main-stream Progressive Pop sound he promotes. The general theme of the project extols the listener to live a life filled with emotional understanding, social unity, musical enjoyment, spiritual awareness and, above all things- love, even amidst adversity and personal disappointment. Though the tone is positively maintained from the emotionally empathic viewpoint of SolÅce, the delivery is performed in a manner that is not idealistically overbearing.

The project can be segmented into three overall song groups: 1. Technically Progressive Works, 2.Genre Standards, and 3. Diversification Works. The "Technically Progressive Works" group contains songs that are believed to be beyond or on the cutting edge of current Pop compositions due to musical arrangement and performance. "Fool-4-Love," [3:38] "Am I Your Dream?,"[3:51] "Love in Moxn," [3:51]"(Clouds Away) In the Club," [3:31] "NucleoTide," [3:40] and "Loving Me Forever" [3:56] are the six compositions that the first song group consists of. Each is rhythmically intricate and possess appealing technical elements that are not commonly found in current works.

The term "Genre Standards" refers to works that can be immediately identified with a specific genre and conforms to recognized musical convention. The four songs that this second group consists of are "Can't Help Falling," [4:10] "Talk It Over," [3:31] "Wish I Could," [4:10] and "Step." [4:42] The former three songs are the slower, love songs of the project, while "Step" is a combination of a Steppers "Genre Standard" and a "Diversification Work," due to its strong Jazz influence.

The final group, entitled "Diversification Works" describes the compositions which display the expansive repertoire of SolÅce by being in a genre that does not directly conform to the overall genre of the project maintain SolÅce's musical style without drifting into a sound that is inaccessible to the listener. "Un Dia Mas" [3:20] and "One Day" [3:48] are the two songs that this last song group consists of, with the former having Spanish musical and linguistic influences and the latter being an electronic guitar- based Alternative song.
