About the Artist
Amy Best's singing career began at 11 in her local church choir. Even then, Amy knew that singing would be her passion. Now 18, Amy has begun her pursuit in earnest.

In February 2001, Amy entered the studio for the first time. "I didn't know what to expect the first time in the studio. It was all so new to me, but it didn't take me long to warm up to it. When it was time to leave, I was already wanting more."

While recording, Amy also began songwriting. From the upbeat, in-love "Wanna Be With You" to the heart-rending, burning ballad "Engraved Upon My Heart," Amy covers a wide range of emotions with her powerful voice and sensitive words.

The album, "Sincerely Yours, Amy," made its debut July 28 with live performances throughout Middle Georgia. Her music and live interviews have been on the area's premiere popular top-forty station, she's performed live on TV, and has opened for various artists such as Lou Pearlman's newest band "Natural", Epic recording artists "Rehab", and Maverick Records' latest chart-topper Michelle Branch. Amy has performed at the Georgia Music Hall of Fame's Kidz Jam 2001, the Georgia National Fair and the Macon Music Heritage Festival who's headliners included James Brown and Little Feat. Amy admits to the occasional butterfly before a performance, but after the first song, she's where she wants to be.
