About the Artist
Dolores Paradise and DJ Julio have incarnated several times on the timeline of music of the past 20 years - beginning with new wave/punk in the late 1970's and surfacing now with whatever/we/believe in/and love tunes which we've put on Unalone.(Present incarnation - The Power of Suggestion)

Jack Rootoo was the guitar play for Lou Miami and the Kozmetix. He is capable of incarnating as any kind of musician. That's why he plays in so many bands. People call him and he shows up and plays.

Real Pop Music Never Dies!!.......2002-03-07

I only just recently heard of this band from listening to a local college radio show, and was completely psyched to see it for sale on Amazon.com! This album not only reminds me of a time when pop music wasn't synonymous with trash, but it gives me hope for the future of musical and electronic expression overall. Like any great album, there's a good mix from track to track, in terms of style, tempo, mood, etc... I can't get it out of my head since I first heard "Triangle City" in the background on the radio - it's a vibe and a spin that just sticks with you throughout the day. The easiest way for me to describe this music (although how can one ever REALLY pin something like this down) is a modern-electro-dream-pop broadcast. This kind of music could appeal to anyone in the world, and this without being "vanilla" - quite the feat in my honest opinion... Whether you're into ethereal/shoegaze, techno/trance, or this new revival of 80's synth - it's all in here somewhere. What more can I say?? I think EVERYONE needs this album in their lives!!

Travelled a long way............2001-12-01

I would probably have never heard a CD like this if a friend hadn't sent it to me. It is easy listening and hums along nicely in my head for hours afterwards. I wish we had more guitar players like Jack Rootoo in Australia, the ghost track at the end says it all.

It's a wonderful combination of the surprisingly new and the wonderfully soothing ... my favorite accompaniment to Sunday brunch.
