Ths listing for the songs on this CD is wrong, there are acctually 7 songs... 1.Believe 2.Anything But Beautiful 3. Girlfriend 4.New Black Car 5.Bed of Ashes 6.Soldiers 7. Washed Away. They all rock. The CD also includes the music video to the song Girlfriend.
This CD rocks...
I've been a Swim fan for about 6 years now and I've seen them go from name changes and sound changes and they have developed into one of the best rock bands every. You will not be dissabpointed in this band.

Very well thought out and put together album. Songs seem to move from one to another leaving the listener struck in awe and anticipation for the next song.

Music this good doesn't come along often. Swim knows how to write and play music that just is great to listen to and makes you feel good. I buy and listen to lots of rock, alternative, and heavy metal music, and the music on The Laughter and the Noise is some of the best stuff I've heard in a long time. SWIM knows how to rock hard and play it soft too. I've listened continuously to this CD for the past several months and still am not tired of it. The catchy melodies and lyrics are always playing around in my head. Take my word for it,...this is one great CD!

If You haven't heard of Swim, trust me--you will. "The Laughter and the Noise" is one of my favorite albums, combining heavy Alt-Rock sounds with more melodic pop sensibility. Buy it!

Here's an AMAZING band, rising out of a small town in Ohio and taking people by storm with their unbelievably well written music and lyrics. This is a band that will always stay with you the minute that you hear them, the music is catchy and beautiful, the lyrics are unlike anything out there in the music scene today, Joe Hedges(lead singer) writes lyrics that will smack you in the face like a pimp and make you think: 1.)about what the lyrics are saying, but 2.)think about how lyrics that powerful can come from one man. EVERY song that comes out of Swim WILL in some way effect you whether you want them to or not and if you don't have "The Laughter and the Noise" then you need to get it NOW, you won't be disappointed.
