The setting: it is saturday night in a not so very distant past
(Joe Satriani still had hair on his head). Avenues. Lights.
Big cars. Johnny drives down to the inn to check on things.

* The atmosphere, bassline and guitars makes this tune perfect
for a Quentin Tarantino movie.
It's like 'TITO & TARANTULAS' minus one Tito,
instead plus the great vox of Phil Frazier wich fits like a glove for this song.

'Cruisin' The Strip' is apparantly 6 minutes and one second long,
but it doesn't feel that long at all!

If I have to give it a grade, that would be a 9/10, partly
unclean solo picks pulls the grade down.

Solid as Classic Rock.......2001-02-09

If you're a fan of true classic rock, this CD would be a welcome addition to your collection. The music is solid but never overdone. The highlight of the CD (for me) was "Super Dose" with a steady driving beat, awesome guitars and a great lyric.

If you're a Satch fan this CD is a collector's favorite. Either way it's great music to kick back to or take with you on a road trip.
