This is another mis-leading compilation of re-recorded hits, listed as "new stereo recordings" to get you to believe that the songs are stereo versions of the original recordings-which they aren't.

Rubbish remakes.......2004-06-14

My copy doesn't have any warning about original artists, but these are not all the original versions. I bought this for three tracks- "Kind Of A Drag", "Lightning Strikes" and "This Diamond Ring", all of which are re-recordings that lamely attempt to mimic the original, but the vocals are dead giveaways. I grew up in NY listening to these hits and I know the difference. Save your money for a legitimate set.

Great CD, takes you back to the 60's.......2002-03-02

A previous review cautions to be beware of the very tiny tiny microscopic small print on this cd that says, may not include all the original artists!
I believe all the artist on this are the original artists.
If you went to high school during the 60's this will bring back memories.
