if you're anything like me, you've been disappointed with the majority of the cds you've bought over the last few years. they've been over-priced, over-produced, and too formulaic; you pay $18 for a double-disc album and end up with only a handful of decent tracks. well, my friends, mr. wink delivers a tight and sexy mix on this ovum compilation--it's a must-have for lovers of quality deep house music. there are 13 tracks on this album and they're all good. the first five tracks, especially, are uber-smooth and sultry and full of sexy percussion. if your significant other is nearby, chances are you're going to want to shag right away. yes, this comp is more for humping/listening/lounging than dancing, but you could definitely lose yourself on the dancefloor to a few of these grooves.

my only gripes about this cd are tracks 9 and 10. while the rest of the cuts will steam up your windows, the former and latter take you to a different kind of place--an early 90s rave. as a former raver, i appreciate these acid-drenched tributes to the past, but not in the middle of a deep house compilation!

overall, however, this is one of the best house collections i've heard since the turn of the millenium. check it out--
i don't think you'll be disappointed.
