Most of the tracks I wouldn't even consider real trance but rather an assortment of eurodance cheesy tunes... If you are looking for real trance, there are better cd's...

Not as good as the 2002 version.......2005-06-08

I didn't know that they were making "Trance the vocal session" a series. The first one I bought was the first one they ever made back in '02. Its very easy to compare them with each other, as they are both "vocal Trance". But I like the '02 version better. It just had way better songs, pure and simple. I gotta give 'em credit on this album though, they brought in the big guns. ATB, Tiesto, Future Breeze, CJ Stone, DJ Tatana, Marc Van Linden, Mario Lopez, and even DJ Dean. Normally, all these heavyweights on one album would bring the house down, but their offerings on this album don't make them look as good as they really are. The only exceptions are Future Breeze's song "Out of the blue" and DJ Dean's song "Ballanation no.4". The quality of those songs are what those artists are all about. Of course I ran into some pleasant surprises as well. Akira's "Piece of heaven", Oscar De La Fuente's "The sun is out", Motho's "Summersky", Cappella's "U got 2 let the music", Elysee's "Dreaming about you", and DJ Rodd Y Ler's "God's love" are all very pleasant surprises. So of course, you take the good and you take the bad and this album turns out to be just your average trance compilation. Unfortunately for this compilation though, I've heard such great trance over the years that my standards are a lot higher now. I give this 2 stars.
