Editorial Reviews
Rulers of The Deep has been a name for househeads to drop for some time now. The Estonian production/DJ duo has been creating luscious deep grooves since 1998 when they came together at the big Vibe event in Estonia. Since then they have attracted the likes of Josh Wink, Roger Sanchez and King Britt as fans.
Comprised of DJ Meri and Julm, they have produced and remixed for a clutch of high profile labels and artists, including: Ovum Recordings, Stealth and Distance for original productions and Defected, Hope Recordings and Hed Kandi for remixes. With quality labels like these behind them, its no wonder that the Rulers are a tip for the top in 2004.
Tallin Express is the debut mix compilation from Rulers Of The Deep, although the name is taken from their long running radio show for Vibe FM in Estonia (which also covers parts of Russia & Finland). Their show encompasses the latest deep house sounds as well as hip hop and breaks an influence that can be heard creeping into the CD.
