ultimately loungy.......2000-12-26

I'm really new to the lounge, acid jazz, deep house kinda style, but I've been introduced by a friend, and have fallen for it fast. And to help that all along, is the new Cafe Del Mar V.7.

It's full of deep, lush sounds that you can totally delve into. Starting wih a slow souly intro by Lux, it continues with Jazz essences by Afterlife, and funky deep beats and strong melodies from Deep & Wide and Bush. It hits a peak with the up beat, latin carrabean sounding Influence of A New Funky Generation feat. Joy Rose. My favourite track by Underwolves (68 moves) is a highlight. With a sexy, souly groove you can't help but to feel ultimately compelled to turn it to it's full compacity and feel it in all ways possible.

One of my favorites from 2001..........2002-02-14

If you are looking for a CD that will totally melt away all the tension and pressure in your life this is the one. Volume 7 of Cafe del Mar features silky smooth melodies with mellow rocking rhythms that make for a perfect chill session. The mixes are great. This is quality electronic music on par with Oakenfold and Moby, but much more mellow. I bought this right before a trip to Italy and ended up not listening to anything else in my CD collection for the whole week I was there. It continues to be one of the CD's that gets the most play time when I'm studying in my dorm or in the office working. I've also given it as a gift to a number of friends and family. Highly recommended.

Vol. 7 will now be available in the USA.......2001-02-06

The Cafe Del Mar series will finally be available domestically, starting with Volume 5. On Feb. 13th, Volume 7 will be released, followed by 5 & 6 in conjunction with the new release of Volume 8 this summer, most likley in June.

Beautiful Strange.......2001-01-16

I have not listened a thing like that since the previous release of the series. But i would say, it didn`t make the sense, when i first listened the volume 5. Still it`s full of love and melancholy and it suits me fine. Also i have to say that Bruno has done a great job. A must have...

Once again an excellent music product from a grest place of this world. If you listen to the music and take a look at the all time sunset webcam beside Cafe del Mar - it is great. Victor

Cafe Del Mar, Vol 7.......2000-12-01

Ok, so I heard most of the music on this album on one of the channels on an airplane coming back from London. I ripped out the sheet of paper that indicated I was listening to Ambiant Jazz (hope I spelled that right). I went out the next day to Amazon and bought this album. It is so incredibly good! I keep listening to UKO's Sunbeams over and over. Lux, Afterlife and Moby just add to this album. Take it from me, don't hesitate, just buy it. This album is great for a rainy day, sunny day or whenever. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
