Vengaboys are back with a 3rd single from their nagging Platinum Album. With every release, they've managed to spirial downwards - the quality is severely diminishing from songs like "Up & Down", "We Like To Party", "Better World" and "Overwhelm Yourself".

You're probably wondering why I gave this 4 stars... this is strictly because of the "M.I.K.E. Remix". M.I.K.E. is the guy behind Push that brought the trance world "Universal Nation" and more recently "Till We Meet Again". This remix alone deserves 5 stars, but the original has brought it down to 4.

This mix starts off similar to the Sanctuary mix of Delerium's "Silence", and progresses somewhat into a progressive trance tune. The only thing that remains from the original is the vocals "I can't take it no more.." which is actually a nice touch. A great remix for a bad tune. The other remix is provided by Lock 'N Load - though I haven't heard it and thus won't judge it.

Vengaboys new single not so great.......2000-06-18

The Vengaboys new single "Uncle John from Jamacia" isnt so great.. The 1st two singles from the Platinum album were the best but the content of this song is so stupid but it does KINDA have a good beat.... Vengaboys can do a better job than this can't they?

if not better. Vengaboys Albums are awesome no matter what is on them, but I especically enjoyed this one. If you like Vengaboys this is a god CD to purchase.

After all the catchy tunes like We like to party, Boom Boom, Sha la la la and Kiss, I must admit I had great expectations to their new track. I have to say that this isn't a typical Vengaboys track. At least not the way I like them. Too slow, too boring and without the party feeling you always get listening to a Vengaboys track. Sorry, but this track will never be found in my CD-player.
