The second full-length in so many years--and the first since a renowned sex change. Pittsburgh's Jordana Le Sesne is not only America's most controversial drum & bass producer but also the most prolific. She's arguably the first and remains one of few Americans to fully master the art of jungle beat production. That's what
Quality Rolls offers, beats: truckloads of chunky, sub-bass thuds alongside carefully carved hard kicks and snare rolls. Devastating tunes like "Get Amped (215 Remix)" and "Deep Stealth" burrow deep into the chest and brutally pound until near cardiac arrest. On a lighter note, jump-up tunes like the DJ SS-inspired "Rock da Party" have break-dance circle written all over them.

URB
A solid mixture of rubbery bass, electro-synths, hi-hats running a bit faster than usual and the fab MCing of "Get Amped (215 Remix)" further entrench 1.8.7 as one of America's most adept junglists.

Customer Reviews:
1.8.7.'s Best!.......2006-12-21
More Jungle CD's need to be like this one. It's dark and heavy yet intelligent. You normal don't see 'heavy' and 'intelligent' in the same sentence. This is one of the few CDs you can rinse out the crowd with OR just sit back and chill to it at a low volume. Although it'll be very difficult to listen to this at a low volume: Lots of bass! BUY IT!!
no quality at all.......2001-04-20
ive heard some preety lame jungle djs but this one takes the "most lame dj" award... man, this dj has anything BUT style and after reading customer reviews i went ahead and bought this cd, thinking it was worth the $$ but man! THE WORST CD I OWN.. if youre thinking of getting some dark jungle and if u like ur beats fast, dont look here..
This is simply the best.......2000-06-09
Ok folks...so as to give my words a little more weight i feel somewhat obligated to tell a little about myself: I've been an avid fan of "techno" music for quite awhile...i enjoy listening to many different genres such as d'n'b, house, funk, and my favorite, jungle...i've been to numerous "parties" and have heard some of the best spin their stuff on the wheels of steel...after owning, and listening to the likes of DJ dieselboy, DJ SS, Roni Size, Mocean Worker, Source Direct, DJ Dara, and numerous other artists i must say that THIS IS THE BEST JUNGLE CD THAT EXISTS...if you like DEEP, DARK, BASS-ridden jungle beats...then this cd is for you...there is not one bad track on this cd...my favorites are "Quality Rolls", "Rock the Party"-which contains a same sample that a superb DJ SS/Kenny Ken track titled "Gold" has, "Cross the Line", and "Relax Your Mind"...but really, all of the tracks are unbelievable...there's no high-pitched hi-hat sounds on this disk...if you are into the old-school, more drum and bass type of jungle, then i would not think that you would like this too much, but if you're into the newer jungle, the kind of jungle that gets you moving at raves, the kind of jungle that makes you feel like you can "rock the party like nobody"...then pick this up immediately...i have in excess of 450 cds...this is one of the ten best that i own...take my word for it..."Quality Rolls" is THE definitive jungle album. Enjoy.
This CD is a must have!!!!.......1999-10-08
This is 187's best album to date. She is an innovator of sound in the drum and bass are of electronic music. The tracks are all tight!!! I could never pick a favorite!! Anyone who loves Drum and Bass should pick this album up.
hard core rolls and up beat pulls.......1999-09-25
this has to be one of the best d&b albums ive heard in a while. it definately ranks up there with pish posh. you should expect alot of tear drop bass lines and hard core jungle riffs throught the whole album. you wont want to skip a single track.
