5 out of 5 stars Doesn't get old.......2007-02-21

I just bought this again when I realized I lost my hard copy CD - I've been listening to these songs for the last 5 years or so and I never get sick of them. It's a completely odd-ball mix of songs but they work together. My favorites are Sunday 8PM and I Love My Man...if you know this CD or like it and don't have Cafe Del Mar #5 or the Zero 7 "Back to Mine", get them.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic.......2006-05-04

This is a seamless album that I go back to again and again. The mixing is good, and it's a fun chill journey that's my favorite in the Back To Mine series. I find it a little more enjoyable than the Everything But the Girl BTM, but that's also good. I recommend this one and often lend it to friends who hear it.

5 out of 5 stars Keeps drawing me in.......2006-02-21

I've collected a number of the "Back to Mine" series, but this one by Faithless keeps calling me back. It's partly the wonderful eclecticism - from Marshall Jefferson to Pauline Taylor, Tindersticks to Aaron Neville. Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Still my favorite Back to Mine.......2005-08-22

I always liked Faithless and bought this cd on a whim. I had heard of the Back to Mine series, so I knew I wasn't in for the usual hard edm of Faithless.

To date, this is still my favorite Back to Mine album.

They start out with a nice tribute to Dido, who is actually Rollo's sister. The cd builds for the next couple of songs and before you know it, you're swept away by Mushrooms.

The cd picks up the pace a little bit from here, but not too much. The Aaron Neville song fits in nice. The cd ends with the unmixed wahacked out version of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean". This is a great after hours cd, but it is also an amazing bedroom cd.

1 out of 5 stars COMPLETELY HORRIBLE!!!!!.......2004-07-01

Wow I've had bad cds but this one tops them all. I can not
understand how people rated this with 5 and 4 stars. This cd
is boring and stupid. There were however two songs I did like,
but I already had them on other cds, better cds. Please do not
waste a cent on this junk.

5 out of 5 stars Classic sound scapes.......2001-03-08

When I first purchsed Dave Seaman's Back to Mine I instantly fell in love with the soft trance and skillfull mixing. It has been the sound track for over a hundred morning afters. That album set a precedent for early morning chill out albums, and is still in my opinion the best. This album is best for the afternoon after a long night clubbing. The mood is upbeat and soulfull, yet calm and sureal. I don't enjoy every track, but I do enjoy the varity very much. The vocal's add a touch of class to this beautifull soundscape created by Rollo and Sister Bliss. He even let his sister open the album. Sit on your porch, light your favorite smoke and let the sun and music wash over you.

5 out of 5 stars Back to Mine should be yours.......2001-02-04

Good music. I cannot recommend this more. One of the best CD's I've bought in a long while. Wide ranging but all smooth and mellow in style, its all good, well mixed and compiled, some familiar and some less so, but like I said, all good. And how often is an album all good? I would venture to say its the best of Back to Mine series. Buy it now.

(If only for the reggae cover of Billie Jean by Shinehead.)

Hmm... Not much to say about it... Think of cool wind in an otherwise hot day and that's what you got here.
