Disappointing.......2007-03-31

Being a Dance Anthems fan and regular listening to the show on BBC's Radio 1, I had high expectations for this 3CD set. Sadly, the majority of the tunes were generic, plain, and uninspiring. 90% of the CD set is just plain. Dave finally turns up the volume around the last 5 songs on the 3rd CD.

For those who haven't heard Dave's show on BBC Radio1, the CD set might be ok. Those who have heard his radio show will be disappointed.

Irritating.......2004-07-29

First, do not pay anything over 5 dollars for this album as it's not worth it and all the of songs could be found on several other compilations.

The first cd is the more irritating mix because of its chipmunk cheesiness. High-pitched female voices singing trite nonsense similar to happy hardcore but slower.

I actually liked a song on the second cd - for an angel.

Most of the remixes on both cds of the few songs i would have liked are bad remixes - like rapture, insomnia.

Some of the songs are not even really what i'd think of as trance - kernkraft - just clubby anthems for drunk people.

I think that most avid trance listeners will know better by looking at the tracklist. If your new skip it, unless you like scooter, atb and erratic 3-note synth stabs or singing female cartoons. I've actually heard worse, but relative to everything, it gets 2/5 just for what little good it has.

good greatest house anthems.......2003-08-20

I picked this one up in australia if you around in the early 90's you will love this one. It brings back alot of classics and good memories from when i was about 15. now i am 28 and i still bust this out at party's at my crib alot of the younger ravers are surprised of how how much hose has evolved since 91 and judge jules does a good job mixing these songs i suggest if anyone come accross this sometime grab while you can.
