Of over 600 songs, Fischer-Dieskau and Gerald Moore realized over three-quarters: these are those. Gerald Moore was of course as important to this project as Fischer-Dieskau.

DGG's sound is excellent.

This set is a remarkable document of art.

Brazillian Flare.......2003-03-12

This is my type of music. I prefer chill downtempo style music, but also like music with Brazillian Flare. This CD was definetely this style. There are about 4 or 5 really good songs, but I was suprised a few songs were on this compilation. These songs sounded a bit cheesy and I felt did not flow well with the rest of the album. Over all, the CD was worth the money.

Terrific Compilation.......2001-11-23

I guess I pretty much go after this type of sound. I'm into the Break N' Bossa Compilations, Brazilectro Compilations and that type of new Bossa Nova music. I even have compilations as far back as the Red Hot + Rio sound. Good discs, all the ones that I mentioned and the Break N' Bossa ones are probably the best series.

But then I came across this Guklich compilation. I'd seen it many times but teetered on getting them since the songs I knew I liked I already had on other compilations. However when I saw this one, volume four, I took the chance and picked it up. I wasn't disappointed at all. It's a terrific soundtrack, jazzy and smooth and up-beat. Great instrumentation and good sound quality as well. It's a shame that I dont' see the artists on this particular site but they are well know - from Kyoto Jazz Massive to Truby Trio.

I enjoyed this disc and may pick up another one, whatever they offer in the future. I was peasantly surprised and it fits perfectly into my collection.

icy,refreshing,groovy brazilian flavours.......2001-04-24

Come sempre le cose più fresche arrivano dall'Europa,e questo Glucklich(ormai al suo quarto capitolo)ci arriva dritto dritto dalla Germania:atmosfere più movimentate come, ad esempio ,"procurando o caminho"di Coisa Nossa affiancati da una stupenda Salome de Bahia si alternano ad atmosfere più sinuose e "loungy".Il tutto con una chiara derivazione Bossanova brasileira...musica raffinata per palati fini.
