I am really glad I encountered the work of Idiom Creak. Michael Rosen's music is profound. It's amazing he put this album together while pursuing his undergraduate degree at UC Davis. He is a real prodigy!

There is something very tranquil and mind-expanding about the little melodies, echoes, and reverberation that makes me fantasize about a really pleasant and mellow party at the beach, around a fire pit, that ended hours ago at midnight but has a few remaining people in no hurry to return to normal life, asking deep questions that don't have answers, listening to seagulls and the crashing waves, until the final embers of the fire fade out...

Jet-Powered, Monkey-Navigated is a RARE, genuine invitation to a beautiful, alternative reality. I am astonished.
