I was surprised to find that Black Label Society was so....diverse.If you love music , then this is a good choice for an array for your tastes.

5 out of 5 stars \m/.......2007-01-12

Excellent album. By far BLS's hardest though still very well written and not lacking those sweet soft tunes Zakk surprises us with. HIGHLY recommend to all metal fans. A Black Label Society collection would not be complete without this album.

3 out of 5 stars the progression of zakk.......2006-03-25

a must for any bls fan, zakks albums get better with every release & this is a few years old now,not as slick as the new mafia cd but still an awesome rocking disc, stand outs would have to be the middle few tracks, superterrorizer, cuonterfeit god & the title track,if you like good raw heavy rock or just love loud guitars then buy this.

5 out of 5 stars Probably too strong for your player.......2006-02-15

This album can be summed up in a few words - it kicks absolute arse - there are some insanse solo's as you would expect from Zakk, but the riffs are literally heavy as hell. This is definitley Zakk's/BLS's most "metal" offering and has all the trademarks along with something a bit more special. Literally, the songs are stronger than death. The strength comes out in every second of every song, so if you agree with SDMF or just simply dig music that is heavy, you need to get this album.

3 out of 5 stars Stronger than ?.......2005-03-29

As a guitar player, I fear Zakk Wylde as any Christian man might fear his god and listening to the complete violence, and splendor he injects into his riffing and the unsurpassed brutality of his Gibson/Marshall tone on his collaborations with Ozzy makes me want to quietly put away my guitar and never look upon it again. And so it was with some anticipation that I bought this album of Zakk's. This is a significant album for me as it the first time the bearded, hellacious one has let me down. Amongst other things, I love heavy guitar music, which Zakk, in my humble opinion, has spearheaded uncompromisingly for 15 years now.

This album however does nothing to advance him as a songwriter.

Many of the tracks here, while played with blistering passion, lack hooks or grooves and so seem to meld into each other with none really standing out. Yes, there are the trademark harmonic squeals, blazing solo's and bone crunching riffs, but the songs themselves lack any sort of hook that would keep me listening. Unlike Zakk's superb craftsmanship on his collaboration with Ozzy's songs, this album just "Bored me to Death"

5 out of 5 stars Sade Rocks.......2006-11-13

I was quite nervous ordering a used CD, but the price was incredible so I said, 'what the heck', and am still reaping the benifits. Not only did it arrive promplty, it was in better condition than I thought. Great Job. I would definitely order from the person in the future.

5 out of 5 stars Another masterpiece.......2006-08-09

'Stronger than Pride' follows the jazz-pop 'Diamond Life' and the darker 'Promise'. On this one Sade goes for a more 'World Music' style with spanish & southamerican/caribbean influence. The result is an unbeatable album from top to bottom. This is another masterpiece from Sade. 'Love is Stronger than Pride' is my all time favorite Sade song.

4 out of 5 stars Stronger Than Pride - 4.5 stars.......2006-06-24

This is my second favorite Sade album but it's also the one that I truly remember critics trying to tear down because of what they deemed the "Sade" sound - being too commercially slick and not going outside the box of their signature sound. To those claims, I say "if it ain't broke, why try to fix it?"

The songs just flow into each other so seamlessly that it is one of the discs that I can listen to from start to finish - the only song that kept me from giving it a full 5 is the last track - I like the music production but not the song as a whole.

My favorite tracks are: KEEP LOOKING - love this song, always encourages me to look to the positive side of life and not to let things get me down; LOVE IS STRONGER THAN PRIDE - love the spare beauty of her voice with the very low key music; NOTHING CAN COME BETWEEN US - very catchy; CLEAN HEART - again, the spare production of this song is perfection; PARADISE & NEVER THOUGHT I'D SEE THE DAY.

For those who are trying to build a Sade collection, I'd recommend this disc - the strong songs and excellent music production will have you reaching for this disc over & over again.

3 out of 5 stars Stronger than Pride..........2005-11-23

"Paradise" is the song of note on this album. Taking nothing away from the other songs, it's just that Sade and her band went in a slightly different direction with this effort. Still, not bad! It's remastered which yields a "cleaner" and "brighter" sound that one can appreciate! Get your copy and enjoy it!
Three stars!!

5 out of 5 stars I love this album like, like an Italian.......2005-10-19

Stronger Than Pride is probably Sade's most stripped down and sparse album. Rather than offer any particular standout singles, it seems more like a concept album. I'm not saying it doesn't offer good individual songs, but that all songs meld together to create a continuous sense of sophistication and understated elegance, two hallmarks of the Sade sound. But the elegance and sophistication is so understated, so refined, so austere, that it is perhaps best for a diehard fan and not a good place for the new fan to start. For a new fan, I would recommend starting with Diamond Life or perhaps Best of Sade.

The other sensation this album evokes, also a hallmark of the Sade sound, is melancholy. Haunt Me, Keep Looking, I Never Thought I'd See the Day, and many of the other songs (save for the tropical and romantic Paradise) have a somewhat lonely, sad undertone. It reminds me of Eddie Murphy's comments in the movie "Boomerang." He tells Halle Berry that he is having the kind of sad day where he just wants to go home, stare at the wall, and listen to Sade. I'm sure he listened to Love is Stronger Than Pride quite a few times that day.

There are, however, two songs that stand out for me.

Love is Stronger Than Pride is almost a hymn. After the betrayal of a lover, Sade is opening her heart again, admitting that though she's not good at forgiving she may give her lover another chance because, after all, love is stronger than pride. And since this song seems to be a hymn to forgiveness, it always makes me think of "A Course In Miracles," the spiritual book that says we find peace through forgiveness. Love is Stronger Than Pride came into my life back in 1997 when I first found "A Course In Miracles." They seemed to be perfect companions. Love is Stronger Than Pride was my theme song for a car trip I took with my friend, Mary Jean, back in 1997. We visited Multnomah Falls and Bridge of the Gods, on the Columbia River Gorge outside of Portland. The mist of the falls seemed a metaphor for the mist of forgiveness.

But the song that haunts me most is Clean Heart. At first, it comes across as a suave mid-tempo R&B song. Sade's delicate voice is little more than a whisper, almost drowned out by the rhythm section. It's the kind of breezy song you can't help but snap your fingers to. I couldn't understand the lyrics, which was fine because they seemed inconsequential, but from the gentle melody and sunny, laidback atmosphere, I figured it was a simple love song. Perhaps a predecessor to Cherish the Day.

After a few listens, I decided to take a look at the lyric sheet. My intuition, however, told me that doing so might be against better judgment. It seems that every time I think a song is light and fluffy, I later find a darker meaning. Once again, my intuition proved correct. The lyric sheet reveals that Clean Heart is actually about a man involved in a life of crime, in an attempt to escape a life of poverty.

"He straightened his belt, and with a lover's touch, he said I'm gonna bring home the things that are out of your clutch."

But the line that really gets me choked up, the line that haunts me, is, "He loved his daddy, though he never told him. And how he loved his mother. He loved, he loved her like, like an Italian."

i have to say this is a waste of my, and your time. not good enough to be sold for 10 dollars. be very afraid of this cd. you should give up music, and do what you are really good at- combing your blonde hair. just another good looking blonde- no talent.

I love all of her music!! If you like Milky or Cascada you will really love Kate. Some of the songs are in french but usually she has an english version of the song on the album also, so you can appreciate her craft in both languages.

5 out of 5 stars Excelente.......2006-11-10

Muy bueno y con exelentes arreglos, comparado con su album "Diferent", ÉSTE HA PASADO IGUAL LA PRUEBA, ES MUY BUENA ELECCIÓN PARA LOS AMANTES DEL DANCE.

4 out of 5 stars Good but not enough.......2006-09-17

I bought this CD since I read a revew which said it was a great vocal trance CD. In fact it has 6 songs which fit this properly, the 2 balads are ok two, but the rest sounds like cheap up tempo pop. Still 8 good songs makes it worth to buy it. Kate's yet far behind from artists like Lasgo or Ian Van Dahl

1 out of 5 stars Purely Awful.......2006-08-11

I bought this based on rave reviews from others. This album is awful. I am hoping Ryan's other albums are better but since I've been burned on this one, I don't think I can try another. Can I have my money back?

I too wish I could rate this zero stars.

It's just awful music.

5 out of 5 stars Stronger Review.......2007-03-10

I thoroughly enjoy listening to this CD. It is full of energy but also great for one on one time with God.

4 out of 5 stars Good.......2005-03-09

'Stronger' by Natalie Grant is a very enjoyable album.

Natalie has a beautiful voice that can create some really amazing sounds. Her best known songs on this album are 'Keep on Shining' and 'What Other Man'. These really highlight the talent that she has. There are several other good songs on this album, as well.

Although she may not be as well known as some other artists, Natalie has a great sound and the ability to do really great things with it.

5 out of 5 stars Among the Best of Christian Music.......2004-08-13

This album is very special to me because the music is inspiring and encourages me when I'm feeling down. I received this album as a gift from a friend of mine a few years ago. I am thankful she introduced me to Natalie Grant's music.

Here are my thoughts on each song and what the lyrics mean to me:

"What Other Man" - This song encourages me when I'm feeling blue about being single. In God I find everything I need. I know God has a special man he will bring into my life when the time is right, but for now I am satisfied because God really is the only "man" who can give me everything I need.

"Keep On Shining" - I feel encouraged when I listen to this song because it tells me that I can make it through anything, and God will always be there. He wants me to keep on shining for Him.

"Whenever You Need Somebody" - This is a beautiful song about true friendship. It reminds me of a few of my friends whenever I hear it.

"Anything" - God gives me the strength I need to do what is right and believe in myself. My ambition is to serve Him, and I believe that He will help me find my purpose in life.

"If the World Lost All its Love" - I sincerely believe that God's love is what keeps this universe together. The world could lose all its love, but God's love will never, ever go away no matter what. And that is such a comfort.

"Such a Wonder" - It amazes me that God would choose to walk on this earth with us and die the most horrible death invented by man so that we can spend forever with Him. I don't fully understand how He could love me that much when I am far from deserving. It is such a wonder.

"I Love to Praise" - I love to praise God. This song expresses a deep desire within me to continually praise Him.

"Only You" - Only God can do all of these things for me and everyone else.

"Don't Wanna Make a Move" - I try to live my life so that I don't make a move or do something without consulting God first. Of course I continually make mistakes and forget to ask Him, but whenever I do, He always leads me in the right direction. For that I am thankful.

"To Find My Strength" - My strength comes only from God. I am very weak and always unsure about what to do, but whenever I rely on God's strength, He fills me up with whatever I need to make it through a circumstance or achieve what I am working hard for.

"Finally Home" - I can't wait until heaven! I can't wait to run into my Father's arms! Our time on earth is short and when it's all over, I want to hear God say, "Well done, good and faithful servant." In comparison to eternity, our time on earth is the blink of an eye. How exciting to think about what God has planned for eternity! That is what I long for.

I hope you enjoy the music like I do. I met Natalie Grant about a year ago at a concert. She is a wonderful, inspiring person and is one of the most talented and beautiful singers in all of Christian music.

Please give this CD a try. The music is uplifting and very calming.

5 out of 5 stars Add This to Your Christian Music Collection!!!.......2002-09-07

Natalie Grant truly surprised me as this was the first CD of hers that I had the opportunity to buy. Here she allows us to see that she is in the league with the other popular Christian ladies AMY GRANT (no relation that I know of) and CRYSTAL LEWIS. Natalie has a very powerful and soulful voice which allows us to observe that she is blessed by GOD which is a feeling that pervades throughout the entire CD.

1)WHAT OTHER MAN is a midtempo that is a great start. Natalie really gets deep on this song as she shows the significance of loving and worshipping JESUS. Great start!

2)KEEP ON SHINING is a kinda fast song that has a beautiful beat and is arranged great as well. Of course, there are great vocals here as well.

3)WHENEVER YOU NEED SOMEBODY is a ballad that Natalie works well and is a duet with PLUS ONE. Though this song could be deemed secular, it still does a nice job of showing the love of GOD. It has a very powerful climax.

4) ANYHTING is a fairly fast song that talks of self-empowerment through of course GOD. Once again, remarkable vocals.

The rest of the songs are comprised of ballads and faster songs and continue in the formula of praising and worshiping. Natalie continues to show throughout her truly GOD-given gift.

5 out of 5 stars Great stuff!.......2001-09-16

A sophomore album is sometimes the hardest for an artist. It can either make or break that artist. For instance, if an artist had a very successful debut album, and their sophomore album wasn't near the quality, the artist could disappear from the music scene all together. However, if the artist has a so-so debut and releases and spectacular sophomore album, the artist could be the biggest in the industry. Now lets take a look at Natalie Grant. Claimed to be the next big Christian Diva, Grant's debut album came out to decent critic reviews and even lack-luster sales. Now, with a new label and a new outlook on ministry and her place in the industry, Grant comes back with a sophomore album that should solidify herself as one of the top females in the industry. This album starts off with two radio-friendly pop tunes, "What Other Man" and "Keep On Shining". Natalie really knows how to sing a pop song and really shows off on these and others like "Anything" and "Don't Wanna Make a Move". However, Grant TRULY shows off her stellar voice on the big ballads, such as "If This World Lost All It's Love", "I Love to Praise" and "Only You". Grant teams up with none other than New Artist of the Year, Plus One, for one of the albums highlights, "Whenever You Need Somebody". Other great songs are the Cindy Morgan-penned lyric "Finally Home" and "Such a Wonder" (which has to show how much Grant is stretching as both an artist and a vocalist). Grant truly is one of those underrated artists in the industry and definetly deserves the title of "Christian Music's Best Kept Secret".

5 out of 5 stars AWESOME!!!.......2007-07-03

This album had from jump! You never really think an artist can outdo something great! like his last album, but he did it again. All i can say is that is unfortunate that Jon's management and Promo crew can't come through for him. This album has everything an r&b soul listener wants to hear. Smooth beats with an edge, contrasting palettes that are candy to ones ears, Ballads and a little hip-hop to keep thing interesting!!! An album definitely for your itunes library!!!! keep it comin JON B!!!

5 out of 5 stars The man is talented.......2006-03-09

I bought the CD not to long ago. I wasn't to sure what to expect from it. After "They Don't Know", I was hooked on this man. His lyrics could fit any mood. I must say though, I bought the CD for "What I Like About You". That song made me run out and buy the whole thing. That track sets this man apart from others. It talks about true, pure love. Most R&B artist these days don't understand that. But Jon B. with his old school background, gets down to the unscathed feelings. If you like Jon B. and have some of his other albums, GO OUT AND GET "STRONGER EVERYDAY". You won't be disappointed

5 out of 5 stars JON B is "Stronger Everyday"! "F" What U Heard.......2005-11-22

I am a big Jon B fan. I own every one of his albums and watched this cat grow from the Bonifide album. He is such a great producer/writer/musician. This is a solid effort after the much liked Pleasure U Like which was also a solid effort. Stronger Everyday, like Pleasure U Like are CDs you can listen to non-stop. I love how Jon B has a hip-hop/R&B sound.

Every song on this album is a banger worthy of radio play, but I do love Multiple a lot, on this track he singing about how many times he can make his girl cum. I also like the track he did with Babyface, What I Like About You, that song is a throwback R&B joint that just sound great. Patience and AZ U are tracks also I seem to enjoy with great lyrics and awesome beats.

The guest appearances are on point R.I.P ODB (Dirt McGirt) and 2Pac.

Regardless of Jon B lack of promotion, Stronger Everyday is worth purchasing and should have been multi-platinum. I hope he keeps blessing his fans with more much needed music!

4 out of 5 stars Stop sleeping on this man.......2005-11-05

I've been down with Jon B since the cool relax album and been hooked since. His new album is more personal than his others. First off his studio burned down and his wife left. And his problems with his record label. The man can sing slow jams stop sleeping on him i just wish he had a better record label if u went slow jams and music u can kick it with ur girl this album is it.

4 out of 5 stars A collection of great instrumentals.......2006-08-10

Ian Anderson has always been known for his flute. What we have here is a flute player arranging and playing some very innovative flute.
The entire album is instrumental, so we miss out on Anderson's outstanding lyric writing talents.
Ian trades his lyrics in for some of the finest flute music you will ever want to hear.
There is not a bad song on the CD. The highlights for me include, In a Stone Circle, In the Grips of Stronger Stuff, and in defence of Faiths. These 3 compositions are not only outstanding but will stand the test of time, which in my mind is the only true test of music. You will never hear Ian Anderson compose anything more solid. The rest of the CD is basically elevator music with occasional highlights.
Ian plays the flute in his patented style and is in top form.
This is much better than its predecessor Walk into Light.
If you are a Jethro Tull fan this should interest you.

2 out of 5 stars Less Than Divine.......2006-07-28

For the record, I've been a huge fan of Jethro Tull since 1968 and a great admirer of Ian Anderson's recent work, such as "The Secret Language of Birds." Anderson is, in my estimation, one of the more significant composer/musicians of our day, and his post-Jethro Tull work has been quite wonderful.

Having said that, I am disappointed with his Twelve Dances with God. The music is pretty, in a generic way, but it lacks the compositional intricacy that is the hallmark of Anderson's work. There are few, if any, key modulations, which Anderson does so well in other works. The pieces are all instrumental - flute together with orchestral instruments and the occasional keyboard. They are all pleasant, in a "new age" sort of way, but lacking musical substance. Nice background music for the office or at home, perhaps.

My chief disappointment is that all twelve pieces sound monotonously similar. I assumed that the theme of this album is the diversity of expressions as humans attempt to dance with God. Leaving the theological aspects aside (this is, after all, an album of music not a theological text), I would have expected a greater diversity of rhythm and tune. However, each track seems to flow into the next. Perhaps this is reflective of "new age spirituality" where truth and deity are rather elastic, but that would take some elucidation from Ian Anderson himself. The music itself doesn't seem to have much to say. If these are twelve dances with God, perhaps it would be better to let Him take the lead.

5 out of 5 stars completely satisfied..........2004-08-09

I have been a long time Tull fan and consequently, Ian Anderson.
As mentioned in earlier reviews on this page, this is a true gem and a tribute to Ians ability to be musically creative, fluid and expansive in a musical genre distinctly different from his rock and blues roots.

5 out of 5 stars Magical.......2004-05-19

This album holds me in rapt fascination whenever I play it. Each song is Anderson's interpretation of the spirit of one of Earths religions. The 12 songs are unique in their own right, but somehow mesh with each other, like they are all really dancing with the same God. Each time I listen to this work I hear more or feel something different. It is a masterpiece.

5 out of 5 stars Inspirational!.......2007-04-27

I awaited with great anticipation this CD from Olivia Newton-John. While written to provide hope and comfort to those battling cancer, the music certainly holds a wider appeal, and anyone struggling with adversity can relate in some way to the message of healing. Olivia approaches some of the more difficult and rarely discussed aspects of cancer and illness, including death (When I Needed You) and the physical changes that illness can bring (Under the Skin). A heartfelt, encouraging message from a truly gifted music icon, I would recommend this to anyone facing difficult personal challenges.

4 out of 5 stars Olivia Truly Is 'Stronger Than Before'.......2007-01-19

If the last twenty years proves anything at all, it is that Olivia Newton-John does not need commercial radio or video support to maintain her nearly forty year career. Fans have been loyal through the stream of endless greatest hits packages, and now find themselves rewarded with a consistent string of albums, many co-written by Olivia herself, and dealing with themes much more challenging than any of her 70's pop hits might have hinted. Stronger Than Before musically continues her spiritual quest following her successful battle with breast cancer, with a series of interesting tracks. On "Phenomenal Woman" (adapted from Maya Angelou's poem of the same name,) she is backed by a capable chorus featuring Patti LaBelle, Beth Nielsen Chapman, and Diahann Carroll, celebrating the spirit of womanhood. "Pass It On" and "That's All I Know For Sure" are bouncy, positive songs about sharing the love and experiences of life with others. "Under the Skin" co written with Amy Sky, is a tender, moving affirmation about loving someone for who they are, not what they look like. "When You Believe" and the title track, are both testaments to the power of positive energy, and that going through life's hardships only makes us stronger. Two standout tracks are the stunning "Can I Trust Your Arms?" (co written by Olivia and her musician daughter Chloe) and the moving "Serenity", a musical adaptation of the serenity poem, composed by Amy Sky. As with any album, there are a few missteps. "When I Needed You" is tedious and overly well-meaning, and while a new Bossa Nova reworking of her 1976 John Farrar penned hit "Don't Stop Believin' features a captivating new arrangement, Olivia's vocals feel strained and bit raspy. Overall, a triumph for the artist, and a gift to any music fan needing a spiritual lift.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome; Strongly Recommend it.......2006-12-01

I've had this CD for about a year and it is one I play over and over and never get tired of. I am now ordering more for friends who are in the thick of cancer battles. This is very inspiring. Great "You can make it" songs that are uplifting for challenges other than illness, too.

5 out of 5 stars Last but not least!.......2006-03-17

Finally, Olivia gets a worldwide release with this fabulous album.
She re-invents herself again, but sticks to what she can do best:
Touching the listener!
From the opener "Stronger than before" Olivia moves on with "Under the skin", a song that every woman having a breast removed can relate to.
"Pass it on" is one of the most positive songs, ever! Olivia's daughter Chloé Rose contributes the track "Can I trust your arms", which Olivia does perform during her recent NZ/OZ/J-Tour!
The Bossa-Nova version of "Don't stop believin'" is as good as her re-doing of "Physical (2002) and far better than the over-production of "I honestly love you"(1998).
"Serenity" is a prayer which will be adopted by meditation-fans all over the world. This is an inspirational album for all difficulty-survivors on earth!! Thanks Olivia!

5 out of 5 stars Diamond Rio's best (and Nashville's best!).......2003-09-13

This album is an exercise in pure joy. Every song is excellent, and Diamond Rio's totally unique, bluegrass-fused-with-honky-tonk vocal and instrumental sound makes the recordings jump out of the speakers.

Love a Little Stronger is a great upbeat love song, and Finish What We Started is the sonic equivalent of distilled water--crystal clear, no impurities. You Ain't In It, Night Is Fallin' In My Heart (by quirk-master Dennis Linde), and Bubba Hyde are some of Diamond Rio's best subtly humorous songs. Wild Blue Yonder is another beautiful ballad. Down By the Riverside, Gone Out of My Mind (check out Steve Wariner's I Am Ready for another version of this one), and Appalachian Dream / Kentucky Mine are bone-chilling.

Diamond Rio has never topped this album, and nothing to come out of Nashville's mainstream since its release has been better--not even anything by Alan Jackson. This is as good as it gets.

4 out of 5 stars Best of their work ( 4.5 stars ).......2003-09-07

After a solid start with two albums from 1991 to 1992, they decided to give in to temptation and really make it interesting. 'Love A Little Stronger' is the album that makes the perfect example of what kind of band Diamond Rio is, and covers humour, heartache, and innovation really well.

The title track is rich with golden harmonies that swell the hearts of listeners, with Dan Truman making his piano all grand and romantic at the same time.

'Finish What We Started' is a love song that reminds us what love is: a wonderful journey. Although this album has so much heart put into it, this particular song is the centre of it.
Another great tune is 'Gone Out Of My Mind'. Interesting thought: this band has never really made a 'sad cowboy' tune, more homegrown country-which is what they do best. This is a first for them, and they do a good job.
'You Ain't In It' reminds us what happens when the girl of your dreams isn't in them anymore. Great quick pickin' here.

Nice to see for once, Marty Roe has a pen in a song that really is a timeless piece. 'Down By The Riverside' watches a growing love walk away. 'Wild Blue Yonder' has the same feel of love's journey like 'Finish What We Started', but has it's own sound. Tender to the words and every syllable, Roe is such a great singer not only in voice, but expression as well.

The single on this album that finally lets the boys get more loose and real than ever heard is 'Bubba Hyde'. Listen to all the lyrics and let yourself laugh out loud about a social loser who is really the cool cat of the town, well, when the sun goes down. Prout's rat-at-at beginning and skippy beat throughout is followed by Truman's saloon piano, Johnson's drole mandolin, Williams half hip/half goofy bass, and Olander's guitar that sounds like it's rolling down the hill on purpose for humour. They even know how to make their music, not just words, sound funny. One of my all time favourite songs.

'Night Is Fallin' In My Heart', is a mid-tempo traditional tune rich in individual moments by each player.

Although this album is so well recorded and pleasing throughout, the strongest moments come during the last two songs: AGAIN, a band/individual showcase on their best instrumental and one of the best by any band, 'Appalachian Dream'. Even though they all have both different influences ( classical, rock, bluegrass, jazz ), this is a song that gets them to be a country sound throughout-all of them. The talent of these players will amaze you. And this is their best song as a band fused together in a common place. So many of their other songs definitely have them working together for a certain sound, but this one does best. A musician's dream song to listen to.

A great story of miners and their wives praying they come home from the depths is 'Kentucky Mine'. Amazing musicianship, and the earnest of Roe's compassionate voice. With no definite answer or ending to the tale, it keeps it all open to your thoughts. Great lyrics brings you into the lives of both the families, and the workers.

All in all, this is an album I'd praise to my grave and beyond.

5 out of 5 stars FLAWLESS DIAMOND.......2002-09-10

"Love A Little Stronger" is an exceptionally fine album. The music, the lyrics, the splendid harmonies make it hard to single out any one song over another. But, I must confess to a couple of "favorites" ---- "Finish What We Started", "Down By The Riverside", "Wild Blue Yonder," the wonderful instrumental "Appalachian Dream", and "Kentucky Mine," a tribute to coal miners. All in all this is one of Diamond Rio's best efforts. Truly, a flawless diamond.

5 out of 5 stars DO NOT SKIP THE "FINISH WHAT WE STARTED" SAMPLE!!!.......2002-05-21

MY FAVORITE DIAMOND RIO SONG OF ALL TIME IS "FINISH WHAT WE STARTED". IF I COULD WRITE SONGS OR SING SONGS IT IS THE STYLE AND SOUND I WOULD TRY TO CREATE. THE SONG "LOVE A LITTLE STRONGER" I THINK WAS INCLUDED ON THE GREATEST HITS CD. "BUBBA HYDE" IS PROBABLY THE MOST REMEMBERED SONG FROM THIS ALBUM BECAUSE OF THE AIRPLAY ON RADIO IT RECIEVED. TOO BAD RADIO DID NOT PLAY THE "HECK" OUT OF "FINISH WHAT WE STARTED" LIKE THEY DID "BUBBA HYDE"! I DID GET TO SEE THE VIDEO ON CMT SEVERAL TIMES. THE VIDEO WAS EVERY BIT AS GOOD AS THE SONG.

1 out of 5 stars A terrible CD.......2005-04-19

This Cd wasn't any good. It shows that Bruce needs to stick with acting. Especially his bad version of crazy mixed up world. It's a waste of your money to buy this.

5 out of 5 stars A nice follow up to Bruno's debut album.......2004-09-16

This album didnt deserve the poor critics it got when it was first released. Actually it sounds good and different than the more popular Return Of Bruno, with more accomplished arrangements and Bruce trying to sing better than before.I wonder if Bruno Radolini will ever make a REAL comeback in a recording studio, one day or another. In the meantime, lets enjoy this album and the previous one or the recent import compilation.

5 out of 5 stars His best album.......2003-06-24

That's the best of Bruce Willis. Blues, swing. Not as "funky" as "the return of Bruno". A must have.
