23 year-old Hugh Pescod AKA Clipz caught the ear of Krust and Die after he released ‘Mystic Amen’ for Emcee Recordings a couple of years ago, and since his remix of Die and Skitz ‘It’s On’, hasn’t looked back. Now part of the Full Cycle crew, and the biggest of the new artists the label has broken so far, Clipz has built a massive following and follows a handful of high profile singles with his debut album.

It is never easy to join a crew such as Full Cycle, dominated by the strong personalities of its founding members, but Clipz has managed to fit in perfectly, sharing with Roni Size, Die and Krust a real sense of Funk while retaining a strong individuality. ‘Livin Drumz’ is an accomplished, breathless journey into 21st century funk.
