Who knows why it's called Silence cuz it's anything but. Turn it up! Instant party. Good stuff. Put it in your shopping cart, you will not be disappointed. If you love GiGi, you'll love this. Mmm yeh, boyHowdy!

This album is classic Gigi. Many of his compliations (Il Grande Viaggio, Techno Fes 1 & 2, Journey, Il Programmino), though good for what they are, were somewhat of a disappointment because most of the tracks lacked the D'agostino sound. Not so on this album, which harkens back to the double-CD version of L'Amour Toujours. The first three tracks are particularly fantastic, but the whole album is really a joy to listen to.
Highly recommended.

This is a cool cd, I think Gigi D'Agostino is a really awesome music artist. I think L'Amour Toujours 1 and 2 are a lot better, but this one is worth keeping on the market, in the house, or in the car! I wish the USA would put out more of his music than "I'll fly with you." GEEZ. If they put more of his music out, he would be more popular here. Buy used if you arent sure!

I don't even remember how I stumbled across Gigi.. sometime in sophomore year of high school, it was. But this man is genius. He's amazing. If you love the whole techno/electronica scene, you will not be disappointed with him. Even if you don't know if you're that type... I don't go to clubs, and I typically like NIN and the like, but ... you just can't help but love this man's music :) Very quality ;) Very bouncy. Just let it infect you, it feels /so/ good ;)

Gigi siempre se ha mantenido ocupado........... antes de que Silence saliera a la venta ya circulaban los Ineditos.... y no hay que olvidar Il Programmino....... de hecho tampoco hay que olvidar Live At Altromondo Parte 1.........osea que Gigi nunca estuvo del todo desaparecido......... definitivamente desde la salida de Il Programmino se venia una avalancha de producciones y Silence EP es una de las mejores.........

For those of you who like a little bit of everything in an album, this band is perfect! There is variety in the style of music, as well as in the lyrics. Soren Anders is an incredibly talented writer, musician and singer!

Shimmerplanet defy my attempts to classify them. Maybe I just don't listen to the right bands...
There is rock, there is cabaret, there is pop, there is much more here too...and it all sounds good. A very smart band, with the guts and know how to have a very creative take on both music and lyrics and still come up with a great-sounding product. Great male and female vocalists, backed mainly by a piano and cello, but with numerous other instruments thrown into the mix whenever they are needed.

This EP is a touch short at 5 songs, only 3 of them being fully recorded and mastered songs (the other two being an instrumental and a 'demo'), which screams 'this is all we can afford right now'. But those 3 are all keepers and deserve a spin on your player. I've had it for about 6 months and still play it regularly.

One Minute Silence burst into action with this explosive EP featuring four tracks, two brand new ones and two live recordings. Its rap metal, but thankfully manages to avoid slipping into that whining American twang that a lot of metal bands sadly do, and which you have to say is a complete relief. Title song 'Revolution' is laden with effects and storms along with delays and synths aplenty. The verse hooks are hard and twisted while the chorus is certainly more than enough to get the masses moshing.

'Into Our Own' isn't so obvious in its shoutability but kicks in like a steam train on acid causing muscle spasms in the neck. Once again there's plenty of effects used and the guitars predictably crash and sway in typical metal fashion. Good to hear though are the melodies and hooks in the breakdowns between the thundering choruses distinguishing it from much of the bland metal doing the rounds and definitely standing out from the others on this EP.

Last two tracks 'Rise and Shine' and '1845' are both live recordings that appeared on the album 'Buy Now . . . Saved Later', and are basically what you would expect from a live recording; rougher versions of the songs with a bit of improvisation here and there, and of course the screams from the crowd at the start and end of the songs. On the whole this is pretty impressive effort from a band that already have two albums under their belt, yet have put together a few songs with an element of originality in them.
