This remains one of my favorite films of all time. I have it on VHS, but want very much to purchase a DVD version that I can actually play in USA format. Why hasn't it happened yet??

This movie has an excellent, really affecting score by musical theatre composer John Kander.

Best Of The Best Thrillers List!.......2005-11-24

This movie has always been one of my favorites. It is a real thriller, and I like the way Roy Scheider (as an Ordinary psychiatrist) is sucked into this murder mystery. The acting is superb. The dark setting is just right for creating goosebumps, and the plot is high quality. This is one of the best all-time murder mysteries!

I tell you that it is a disgrace that it is not released in the US on DVD. I made a DVD backup of my VHS version, but still want to purchase an retail DVD of this movie. If anyone knows where, please let me know.
