5 out of 5 stars Tracks for the Soul.......2002-08-04

The selection on this cd is great. If I were to compare this to a dj time slot I would have a tough time choosing. The mix begins in a warm-up fashion, then shoots straight into peak-time mode at Track 7. Track 12 goes into cool-down mode. Phat stuff!

Hats off to Terence Toy! I've never met Mr. Toy personally but from talking to him via phone, email, etc., it is clear that we share similar loves for house music. On H2ouse Terence doesn't disappoint. The intro sounds like a dripping faucet and gives way to "something big about to go down". The M.A.W. remix of Finally by Kings of Tomorrow is so funky it will start any party off right. Toy showcases his mixing skills by bringing the accapella of Finally into the beginnings of 'Dub Life' by Kerri Chandler. So how powerful is this mix? The melodic blend will take you back to your roots, back to the very first time you heard House music and didn't quite know what it was called. Back to the one good move you had and saved for your favorite song to be played while on the dance floor! Yeah, whether you live it or have delved in it at some point it is all here. Personally I like track 6 which features the vocals of Robert Owens on 'Mine to Give'. Listen to the samples all you want, it won't do this mix justice. But if you really want to give your party some amp, give this an ear! **Watson**
