Great Cd Single.......2005-05-15

It is a shame that the world finally knows this song from this dull version of Kosheen. The best version is and will always be for me the Star 69's Suzanne Palmers' which unfortunately has not been released yet outside the clubs. Look later this year for Suzanne Palmer's Hide U with remixes by Peter Rauhoffer.

Hottest track!.......2001-03-13

Kosheen's "Hide U" is the hottest track in my world at the moment. I turned all of my friends in college to it as well and that's the ONLY song we ever hear in the dorms. I first heard it at Twilo in NYC when DJ Sasha remixed it. It was amazing and the vocals are great. This will be the hottest track of the summer... YOU JUST WATCH!!!

Really great drum-'n'-bass/techno stuff !.......2000-10-02

Four tracks here, and all four tracks R really worth it. First, there is the radio edit for "Hide U". Really nice, just like the original, and it's only a little bit shorter. But is has some little differences. This song, "Hide U" balances between drum-'n'-bass ( in a danceable way ) and technopop, and that's what makes it really great. You can really dance to it.

Same applies to the next song, "Empty Skies". This one is also very danceable, and just as good as "Hide U". There R some subtle signs that reffer to Latin-music ( just as in "I Was Wrong" ). The singer her voice is beautiful and great in this song. Again, this song balances between intelligent technopop and drum-'n'-bass that is danceable. Hope they'll release this song as a single too.

The last one is a bit calmer. "I Was Wrong" is a little bit more trip hop-like, but beautiful. A little bit introspective, with some subtle Latin-thingies, and a wonderful way to cool down from the previous high energy dance songs.

Please, just buy it ! You won't regret it !

Kosheen is a crew of three guys that make incredibly good Drum n'Bass, this single contains one of their best tunes, Hide U which is getting really popular in the northern hemisphere where I live, probably because it get's better everytime you listen to it. If you are interested in Drum n'bass or if you are a DJ, then check out their album, "Empty skies" and I promise you that you won't be disappointed.

Kosheen - Hide U.......2002-04-19

Well I can't say i've ever been a fan of the new found band Kosheen, but with this song it's quite hard to resist. With a fast backbeat and soothing vocals that soon loop straight into the chorus, repeating Hide U several times. This is a great dance-club fave along with their new single 'Catch' which is also worth a listen. I recommend this single for anyone who likes fast back-beats, soothing vocals, dance music or just looking for something to listen to at a party e.t.c. And your chances of getting this in a store these days are slim to none, so take the chance while you can and purchase this great dance piece from the techno prodigys, Kosheen and you will be in for a big surprise, because this single also includes killer B-sides that'll floor any other D.J.

This one is good but the other disc is better. Get the Rauhofer mix. Get the Red Square Mix. Get the Kamono mix.

Sure the names on the other disc are lesser known, but the mixes blow the doors off of these supposedly club powerhouse mixers.

bought the thunderpuss mix in the States last year and thought it was great but after seeing Suzanne Plamer at the 2003 Sydney Mardi Gras I can state this track is better than great. What a show what a cover version

Great Club Anthem.......2001-12-14

This is a great great great single from the Star 69 label. I've been waiting forever for this single to be released and it is finally out. Wooo hoooo! Go and get it 'cause it's hot hot hot. There are two maxi singles out for this song. The first single contains the Original Edit & Original Club Mix (Done by Peter Rauhofer), Mike Macaluso Mix, Tony Van Komono Club Mix and the Red Square Dub. The second single contains the Friburn & Urik Mix, Johnny Vicious Mix, Junior Vasquez NYC Mix and the Thunderpuss Mix. (Thunderpuss Mix is my favorite out of all of the actually remixes) You won't want to miss out on this single and I'm sure all of you club peoples have heard of this song by now. It's finally out so go out and grab BOTH of the singles. Hope this review was helpful. Thanks for reading!

Amazing anthem of the season.......2001-12-12

Part 2 of this single is the one
to get, with better-than-usual mixes
from Vicious, Vasquez, and Thunderpuss.
It sounds like they saved their best
stuff for this track, added energy
and great special effects to the wailing
diva vocal. The seriously hard tracks
contrast beautifully with the wistful
lyrics to create something special for
the dancefloor.

As for all the haters who say Kosheen's
is the classic version, you may well be
right--but you gotta give Star 69 props
for crediting Kosheen on the back of
the cd. They even say "from the album
Resist" and include the website address!

Anybody who likes this version has no respect for artists/songwriters. This is a blatant attempt to cash in on John Creamer & Stephane K's success. I mention them and not Kosheen, because it was these two gifted producers who turned this into the one of the biggest club tracks of the year (listen to the vocal on the Original and then the Creamer & K Mix and see what I mean).

I was initially under the impression that it was being released in the US as "Suzanne Palmer" so when I heard a sample of this track I was completely dumbstruck at how atrocious her vocals really are. I'd rather be succumb to 10 minutes of a car backfiring than 2 seconds of her rendition of Hide U.

I know some people prefer Suzanne's vocals, thats nice and all, but this is analogous to someone who study's hard in school, writes an exam and the person sitting next to them cheats off them and they get the same mark... its ethically wrong. Kosheen's version (with the Creamer & K Mix) is about to hit American shores, and I recommend people flock to that. This tune [Suzanne Palmer's version] easily walks away with my award for worst song of 2001. A waste of space in a record store near you...

Suzanne Palmer ist wellknown for her Club Hits with Peter Rauhofers Club 69 - she has a gospel voice that really blews you away.
This song is "originally???" from Kosheen, but forget it: Suzanne Palmer rules and takes everything away with her club remixes.
There are some brilliant voices in the world like Suzanne P., Zee Ahsa (Background Vocals at reunited Culture Club).
At the moment the best record before going out or being out.... *+)

Yeah - Vocal house at it's best! And if the sound system kicks like at the Sound Factory in N.Y.C - your in for some definite ear candy. Always gets some cheers when it starts to play wherever you go. Great head music and dance track! It's re-mixed by famous DJ's which only makes it better. It even has sex appeal! Recommend it!
