Customer Reviews:
Fabulous for any Broadway-lover.......2007-01-30
Packs into 5 CD's a sampling of Broadway tunes from the 20's thru (almost) today, mostly from original cast recordings. Includes not just well-known hits, but also some lesser-known gems. Sound quality is first rate, booklet is informative too. Have given this as a gift to several friends with rave reviews.
Top Shelf.......2007-01-04
This is THE definitive collection of Broadway hits. I have other collections, and none of them measure up. A great deal of care was obviously taken in compiling and presenting this box set. It covers a lot of ground, starting with some long-forgotten but still very enjoyable hits from the days of yore, and finishing with present-day favorites. To the best of my knowledge, the recordings are by those who made them famous. You won't be disappointed.
TERRIFIC CD'S.......2006-03-23
THESE BROADWAY MUSICALS CD'S ARE A BROADWAY LOVERS DREAM. WITH EACH SONG, MEMORIES COME FLOODING BACK. BOTH THE FAMILIAR AND THE FORGOTTEN SONGS ARE A TRUE LISTENING PLEASURE. IF YOU LIKE BROADWAY, YOU'LL LOVE THIS SET.
Great Collection of Broadways greatest Songs .......2005-06-14
This Collection was perfectly made it has almost all the most famous Broadway songs on this 5 cd set. The Music is great and has Broadways greatest treasures like "Memory""People""With One Look""Give my regards Too Broadway" just to name a few of this numerous cd set with over 100 songs. This is a great buy if you like musicals or The music of Broadway
Great Compilation!.......2005-01-17
If you are a fan of the Broadway Musicals, this is a collection that you should purchase. Since I got the 5 disc set I've enjoyed listening to it. The majority of the songs are done by the original singers. The collection is priceless considering that you will have over 100 songs from popular musicals since the beginning of Broadway

DJ Baby Anne brings the nu breaks style to Las Vegas for Mixed Live, part of the Moonshine label's ongoing series of recorded live sets. Like past entries in the series from Carl Cox and AK1200, Baby Anne's dirty, intensely danceable sound works well in this format, effectively conveying the kinetic energy of her act. A combination of breakbeats, drum & bass, and old-school techno, nu breaks has an organic, retro feel that Baby Anne gets just right. Tracks like Sharaz's "Brain Damage" and Merlyn's "Solar Flares" share minimal textures with snap-and-crackle beats, while Baby Anne's self-produced "Down To Zero" flirts with Fischerspooner-like electro. She's also willing to get evil for darker material like "Nightmare 2002," which gives her set some variety, and the crowd a chance to gather itself for the next big break. As a further bonus, the CD comes with a 5.1 Surround Sound DVD, to give you an even stronger "you-are-there" feel. --Matthew Cooke
Album Description
Club Ra, located in the Luxor Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip is one of the city's premiere venues. Baby Anne laid down her signature Big Breaks sound to a packed house on February 28th, 2003. We were there to record the mix and capture the crowd reaction from all corners of the club. The end result is another unique installment of the world's only truly live dj-mix series in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound - Mixed Live

Confusion.......2006-01-30
Which song on this cd has the lyrics welcome to the state of confusion?????????????????? Listened to the cd a long time ago at a party and thats the only one that sticks out in my brain.
If you know e-mail bout_b@hotmail.com thanks later
Awesome.......2005-06-05
One of the best breaks cd's I own. Tracks 1,4,7,9,and 11 could make an awesome cd alone.
This is the Nu Skool .......2005-05-11
If your used to hearing other Baby Anne albums, you will notice that this one is slighty different. On this live album, the bass queen uses the "Nu Skool"type of breaks which features old school techno mixed with breakbeats, creating an awesome bass monster of an album. What makes this cd so good,is that it was recorded live at RA in Las Vegas, and the crowd screaming in the background really adds life to this mix.If you like dance music, you want this cd.
Mediocre at best........2004-02-16
WTF is going on with my beloved Bass Queen??
The last two cd realeases have been weak in comparison with the first 3.
I remember the release of Bass Queen vol.1, it was like a breath of fresh air. It would turn my car/home into a local club(New Orleans). This is true no longer.
Once a never miss a local gig Baby Anne fan, I do not intend to go out of my way to see her play here. Her recent set at the House of Blues was lame in my opinion.
Maybe I'm expecting too much, or maybe Im still caugh in the breaks sound I so loved in 1998-2001 but something is definitely wrong here.
The few decent tracks on this live mix cd were played out long before the release of this mix. Maybe it is because breaks are so popular in my local clubs that this did nothing to move me, but 5 stars some of you, gimme a break!
Bass Queen, what happened? Is it your fancy new record label contract? Come on, you can tell us. Why are you releasing these cds?????????
If you like break beat it does not get any better than this!.......2004-02-01
I have been a fan of Baby Ann since she broke out through Icey. I think this is by far one one the best mixes she has ever put together. It will make your subs beat and you hi's scream. Very awesome.

If You Only Buy 1 Dieselboy CD..........2004-01-13
...matter of fact, if you only buy one tech-step cd in your entire life then make it this one. Dieselboy's "The 6ixth Session" comes behind this one as 2nd, it may be a double cd and may be darker, but System Upgrade is pound for pound Dieselboy's best/most solid mix album, I pop it in the cd player and let it flow all the way through start to finish, you can't go wrong with a set like that.
If only one cd could single-handedly represent and define the genre of Tech-Step D&B, then System Upgrade is the answer. Buy now!
This Is It.......2003-11-20
As I said in my title, this album is IT. For me, this is one of my top five commercially-available d&b mixes of all time. What does it for me on this album is the progression, the energy, and the flow. In addition to picking out some very memorable tracks, just about every mix seems "logical," not that attitude of "Hey, listen to these two stormers I can mix." In other words, the mixes allow the tracks to complement each other, rather than just pile up drum parts and create white noise. The entire mix manages to maintain energy, and contains several "high points" that serve to really make the hair on the back of my neck stand up when I hear them, even for the millionth time or so. Finally, and possibly most importantly, the mix flows. By the end of the disc, the music is somewhere other than where it started. It progresses from front to back while still maintaining some common elements and loops throughout to give it unity. With all this said, however, just check it out. Seriously. Strap on a pair of good headphones, sit back, and it will all make sense...
Greatest dieselboy album to date '02.......2002-04-24
This is his greatest work to date, that includes his latest release - "Project Human". Seriously, he even admits in the linear notes that this is the sound that he has been working to achieve all the way through his previous albums. And he hasn't been able to top this one since. All his albums are pure dope, but this album is a pure masterpiece!
have we changed songs yet?.......2001-04-28
I have to admit that even though i am a big fan of diesel boy, this cd was very boring. The beats are too similar on every track, and the cd as a whole just has no "feeling" to it. If you want to hear him at his best, by 97 octane.
scorchingly so-so.......2001-01-15
In this mix, restless drumz careen your way at breakneck speeds, riding atop phearsome bolts of headstrong bass. There's no shortage of sonic energy here, and Dieselboy's mixing is uber-tight.
Still, I'm kind of disappointed. I prefer wild, original beats in hard jungle, but the underlying beats change little over the course of the entire disc. Predictability is boring, and this mix offers few surprises. Don't get me wrong -- it has its high points, such as E-Sassin's "Symptom", Dom & Roland's "Can't Punish Me", Technical Itch's "Deadline", and the wicked bass globs in Hive's "Ultrasonic Sound". Even so, I don't feel this CD is worth the money I paid for it.

Good but there's better dieselboy out there..............2003-08-04
I have to say that pretty much anything dieselboy puts out is not only worth buying but is also some of the best dnb has to offer, so that being said, this release from him just doesnt seem to match some of his later stuff or even 97 octane. All in all this is a great dnb cd and is worth every penny spent on it, but if youve never heard dieselboy before I wouldnt start with this one.
Fast, hard, and deep. . ........2002-01-18
I bought this mix back in '99 and I haven't wore it out yet. It shows up through my cycling of my CD's every month or more and it's always a thrill. It's one of his older, more aggressive mixes and, while I find myself more atracted to rolling, lighter D&B nowadays, this one is still essential in my collection. I have agree with another reviewer who said he really liked the transition from track five to six.
Furious Beats Mixed by the best Jungle DJ.......2001-08-19
When I first heard about this album, one reviewer told me that the symbolism behind the title was that in the trance-pop infested 90's world of raves, Drum and Bass artists are thrown into some back corner and never given any love or respect. Thus, they are called soldiers. Although a little skeptical of this theory, I couldn't help thinking about it once I heard track one open with "Welcome to the HEV mark four..." as if the DJ you're about to hear is preparing for all out war.
Musically speaking, that's not too far away from the truth. Right from the start Dieselboy pumps up the beats to a furious tempo blended with dark undertones and keeps the tensions high throughout the rest of the album. The tone is always dark but extremely energetic and Higgins' (Dieselboy) mixing skill is top notch! I always enjoy listening to this album and I think Dieselboy's music here is not only representative of modern Jungle style but also of the D&B artist community. This CD is the paragon of Jungle music.
WOW!!!.......2001-02-23
The intense beat NEVER LET'S UP! It keeps going and going and going....This is the best Drum and Bass you can buy. My favorite part is where that raw bass starts pounding in The Beckoning and Sawn Off. Equally impressive was the wonderful sound effect from Half-Life and Quake 2 in the intro; they really set the right mood, even if it makes the HEV seem more like a mech-suit than an enviroment shield. But that's beside the point. Let's see...another great track is The Bellz. It assaults your ears with so many sounds and beats you can't concentrate on them all. But don't take my word, go buy it if you're interested in this kind of music at all.
phat trax / hard all the way through.......2000-07-08
These are some very fast very hard tracks, Dieselboy has the tempo cranked up through the whole CD which I don't necessarily mind but I would like to hear the tracks in more detail at original tempo. Compared to System Upgrade the production is alot higher IMO, System Upgrade distorts a bit on my system at high volumes whereas this is smooth smooth smooth and very hard all the way through with no static and/or distortion. Also the tracks are very consistent style, maintaining a nice dark and fast atmosphere through the whole CD, without getting too tedious (i.e. there are some different styles of bass terrorism interspersed with noise terrorism and some random ear piercing terrorism to keep things varied). As usual his mixing is smooth and things flow nicely from one track to the next with only a couple sudden cuts which work one way or another.

woah what a cd!1!.......2006-12-30
if you were to own one electronic dance cd,this is it. this mix is unbelievable. it starts out with some driving psytrance into some banging acid house, then comes the breakbeat, some straight up techno followed by subliminal vocals. keoki really takes you on a journey with this one! his mixing is flawless, showing you why hes one of the greatest djs in the world. this cd is a must have!1! i first heard it in 1996 and it has no problem standing up to the test of time. i still keep it in regular rotation in my cd player. you will not be dissappointed with this mix!
Sorry, but i had to give this piece 4 stars.......2006-03-02
I have a special place in my heart for this cd, it is THE first electronic cd i ever bought. Sure it has cheezy parts and its dated, but its is definately FUN. It is also an incredibally fun walk down memory lane. You could not get away with playing the songs now to the general public, but if you like to nod your head ans smile from ear to ear while driving down the freeway then this is 1 for you.
In the mid 90's keoki was God. Without him i have no doubt that electronic music would be at least 30% less popular in the US. I know i would not have given electronic music a second chance if it was not for him and this cd. Other dj's should never talk bad about this unbelievably 'off the beaten path' yet incredibally talented individual.
This cd was made back before dj's 'mixed' their cd on computer programs that we now have to come to love and enjoy (pro-tools, and tractor), so the mixing on this cd is truly legendary.
His other cd's are hit and miss, but you cant go wrong with this tru oldskool classic.
One Of DJ Keoki's Better Albums.......2005-08-05
Although I still find some parts of this album repetitive and boring, there is enough here to cheer about. It does have a few winners on it, surely. The best song on here is the opener by Cranium HF. The 30 second sample doesn't do it justice. Check it out.
One of Keoki's best!.......2005-07-08
This is a great album, to say the least. I once owned it but then lost it and have been regretting it ever since. It's such a classic. I need to go buy another copy of it.
Kick Ass Techno.......2005-05-09
This dj is known for his acidic, hypnotic beats, and mixing all funkdified sounds together.I'd get this cd just to listen to the speed racer song...damn ,that track will get you all tweaked up and ready for the night. This is the only Keoki cd I'll own because the others are worth crap. This is yet another essential dance album

Jackin' Funk - Solid Ace!!.......2006-01-13
I have well over 4,000 House CD's that I've collected over the past 9 years and this is still my favorite funky house mix of all time. And with the complete take-over of electro-house right now, there is nothing more refreshing than going back and listening to this Dan mix. As Dan states over and over, he never loses sight of what this music is about...partying!
I don't know what the previous reviewer was talking about "downtempo deep house for a cocktail party"? The old-school acid funk just intensifies as Dan steam-rolls through this mix. By the end he is pulling out textbook acid-jackers like the Robert Armani inspired Chicago Jaxx remix "We Praise" that had warehouse walls world-wide resonating with the sirens and roarin' 303 lines of Chicago. And he even digs deeper in his bag for the famed acid classic 'Phreakin' from HMC. If anybody was going to parties in the mid-nineties or wants a hand-me-down experience of what those warehouse parties were like, just pop in this mix and you have all the 303 driven slammin' funkiness that was the beautiful American rave scene at the end of the 20th century. An all-time classic. Dan, we salute you. Keep it rockin'!!
DAMN HE'S GOOD!.......2005-10-25
I own many of Dj Dan's CD's and this is my favorite one. Maybe it's the funk that seeps out of this CD. It's just so full of funk that you can not help bob your head and do a little dance! IT's THE ISHT! I've turned people onto house with this CD and I think that's why I've had to buy like 6 of 'em cuz they just end up missing! It's an oldy but goodie. I like his more recent ones too but it's the "purple" one that gets the most play on my deck. He's a great live DJ too! Never heard him train wreck and I've seen him many, many, times. DEFINITE MUST HAVE! If you like jazzy house get Miguel Migs/Mark Farina. If you want some deep house I'd say Onionz. If you want something to kickstart your nite out on the town- FUNK THE SYSTEM. Has to be! Anyone out there not agree?
A soundtrack for the LeisureSuit Larrys of the world.......2003-08-15
This is a downtempo funky house CD--true deep house, if you're into that sound--which I'm not, thus the average rating.
If you're looking for the high energy live sets that DJ Dan throws down every weekend, this is not that CD. It is a great CD, however, to throw on in a chill room, at a cocktail party or when you want to feel like that [hot guy] walking down the street in glass platforms in that movie _I'm Gonna Git you Sucka_.
Don't buy this one new. Get it used.
house foundation.......2001-12-06
all the reviews before me says it all.
i doubt anyone will come up with a better house album than 'funk the system', even dj dan himself.
this is the best house mix of all time period.
Wow!.......2001-04-23
This is one of the best dance records of the last 2 years. "That Zipper track" and "Disco Highway" are awesome. DOn't miss it.

oldie but goody.......2003-03-23
this disc is a prime example of why hes still one of the most popular DJs of our time. for some reason this disc is close to my heart. its a bit difficult to go to a store and ask for this item, at least where i live. if you like Paul dont hesitate to pick this one up. a classic indeed!!!!!!
Awesome CD for any Paul Oakenfold Fan.......2002-08-15

It's the best-for all time!.......2001-11-25
If you have to get just one album by Paul Pakenfold then get this one.Of all his remixes and albums this is right up there with Traveling as the very creme de la creme;it has all the most original songs as well as some that are still being played all over even though this cd is 7 years old already. The best are Dreams by Quench,Little Bullet by Spooky and of course Not Over Yet by State of Grace which is woven into the beginning and ending of each set.I first heard Not Over Yet in 97 when it started getting airplay in my area;I am in love with this song and Paul Oakenfold's music. (...)
Still a solid intro.......2001-06-16
This DJ mix disc is already 7 odd years old, but it's still a solid listen and will get you moving. Has some great tracks, including the fantastic Perfecto remix of U2's "Lemon", as well as "The Snake" by Opal and tracks from the Shamen and Grace. Definitely worth picking up, though this is either out of print or much more limited now, having been bumped aside for the rash of Oakenfold releases of late.
Decent*but* Unspectacular.......1998-12-30
Some fine tracks, some relatively dull ones, but lacking those few signature moments which, if live, would send you to that golden ball of honey deep inside where all is bliss.

Christopher Lawrence hasn't become, arguably, America's most popular trance DJ by accident. A freakishly skilled man on the decks and possessed by a thirst for new vinyl, Lawrence taps into the same darkly spiritual vibe as international DJ superstars like Sasha and John Digweed. His mix, however, is sleeker and slicker than those of his non-Yankee contemporaries, though still more adventurous and urban than the glowstick anthems offered up by too many U.S. DJs. It's a perfect adjustment for America's notoriously short attention span. United States of Trance, then, seems an appropriate title for Lawrence's latest opus, a quick but satisfying slice of life in his kinetic universe of sound. Check out the spare textures and popping beats in "Holdin' On" (courtesy of Skynet UK), which Lawrence uses with triphammer timing. His work as a producer in his own right is maturing as well; his "Cruise Control" swoops along with a relatively low-key touch, then blends masterfully with "Purple Overdose" from the Captain & Max-Alien Thing. By giving up the goods without insulting his audience, Lawrence expertly walks the thin line between surface cheese and dark beauty that makes trance transcendental. --Matthew Cooke

Not quite as great as the rest........2003-04-23
The first time I ever heard of Christopher Lawrence was some time ago right here on Amazon.com. He was highly recommended, and I like what i read. I downloaded the freebie mp3, 'Cruise Control', from Amazon and it seemed to fit with what I had been reading. Lawrence is the kinda trance I had been looking for since I got into the genre; hard, progressive, heavy rythms, and no cheese.
I was pretty convinced by the reviews that this was an album I'd really like but I couldn't find it. I shoulda just ordered it from Amazon, but I have a hard time buying music mail order. Needless to say, I found and bought two other Lawrence albums first during a business trip to L.A. They absolutely did not disappoint and reaffirmed my desire to get this album.
Unfortunately, as good as this album is, it's not as great as his other work. Don't get me wrong, this album is better than most of what you'll find out there, and a four star rating from me is good.
I found this album to be a bit too repetative and not quite as deep. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but of the four albums of his I currently own, this is the one I listen to the least. Again let me state that this is still a really great CD, just not quite worthy of a five star rating.
A U.S. DJ that deserves worldwide respect........2003-02-22
In the genre of "hard trance", Christopher Lawrence is king. His sound is unlike any other, and he showcases this talent on "United States of Trance". Lawrence has been amazing us for many years, having a few mixes under his belt. "US of Trance" is by far the best (even beating his newest,"Exposure IV"). Hard, pulsing beats backed up by insane synths frequent the mix. Lawrence chooses (and mixes) THE BEST of the "hard trance" genre. The first and last 3 tracks are surely the standout points on the cd, as he pumps you up in the beginning, but never lets you down in the end, keeping the mix upbeat at all times. 74 minutes never sounded so good. Worthy of any electronica fan's collection.
SPECTACULAR!.......2002-11-23
Christopher Lawrence is the best DJ around - voted best DJ on MTV just a few months ago IN Miami...I wasn't able to be there in person, but saw it on TV. I've been able to see him in Europe, Japan and here in the States. His music transcends into CD form very well - when I listen to the CD I feel like I'm at one of his gigs.
I particularly like this CD. I can't wait for his new one to come out.
Good Stuff.......2002-10-13
I've been a fan of his for quite awhile and everytime he has a new album csme out, i was never disappointed. This cd totally captures the state of Trance in souther california. I would consider him GOD.
Mind Blowing and Hypnotizing.......2002-06-19
This cd being my first expouser to Christopher Lawrence, left me with a great impression. On this cd he manages to mix great hypnotizing trance with some trnace that I havnen't really been exposed to before. This cd is packed full of trnace that is differn't yet lovely. Agressive, yet peacefull. Progressive, yet, Jump-up. This is a great mix for any time of the day. The first time I listened to it I hit play than it seemed only like a a few minutes later it was over. I was totaly involved. The style he does this album can in a way, hypnotize you, so, DON'T LISTEN WHILE DRIVING!

Hard Ass Trance.......2005-05-09
This cd is awesome from beginning to end and provides listeners with Micro's famous style of techno/trance.This is one of the dj's that started the American rave scene and introduced Techno/Trance to the USA.If your planning to hit the road or the club this is the cd to listen to.If you like this album also I recommend "Tech Mix 2.0" (which is almost as good)along with "Tech Mix 5(the best!)_& "Out Through The Input".In fact any of his Tech Mix series cd's are good and well worth the listen. As with every Micro cd...there is great mixing and flowing. There is no other dj like Micro...go pick up this cd now and get hooked!
Very powerful mix but..........2004-09-23
DJ Micro throws out here a very powerful mix. First time I heard it I was driving to an appointment and found my foot pressing the gas pedal to the floor. I don't think many people could dislike the music here. It seems to me to connect with the original reason I got into dance/techno/trance music (Matrix films having much to do with it among others). The only problem I had with it was that I awaited some tremendous ending track to this disc. Something, you know, magical, inspirational, etc. Kinda like how DJ Paul Oakenfold ends his Global Underground : New York disc with Deeper Love - (Symphonic Paradise mix, with BBE) which I think is supperb. Instead the final track is probably the least enjoyable track on the disc that just reminds me of a downward sloping hill. It starts off like the rest of the album but eventually reaches the bottom of the hill where the track just dies.
Good Dark techno yet not fulfilling.......2004-09-21
Well here i am going through all of my techno, trance, house ect.. albums. i scroll across dj micro's 2000 mix. yes this is a great cd for its hard dark tracks but it just doesnt cut it. if you like listening to techno to dance than this is a great cd, if you like listening for more of an artistic view i still prefer Oakenfold. i just wish Oakenfold would play more hard tracks like the ones presented by dj micro in this cd. good to get cd just because of the hard tracks provided. just doesnt progress into anything.
GRRRRRRRRRREAT STUFF.......2004-04-09
Yes! now thats what im talkin about....this mix has got what today's Micro needs....that tech/trance/breaks style.Awesome cd from start to finish....Very highly recommended
If there is one Trance cd to own; this is it........2004-01-07
This is in my opinion THE BEST Micro cd there is, quite possibly the best tech/trance/house album to own. Period. Absolutely no cheese is to be found anywhere, Crystal clear sound, a perfect track selection, and energy surging the entire time kepping your senses glued to the music . The entire album takes you for a ride with enlifting and tense build ups, immaculate mixing, and intense climaxes (and there are many throughout the cd).The one flaw stated and agreed by many is a weak ending with bizarre off key vocals, but the experience before makes up for it a hundred fold. A truly good cd that you can listen all the way through satisfied the etnire time.
I have just begun to write reviews on music but have been listening to techno and more definitively trance for more than half a decade, and have to say that finding good solid cd's is harder and harder to find. This is THE must have.

Lesser Known Facts.......2005-06-08
A terrific mix by one of the most independant thinking DJs out there. Boy George packs this cd with rare mixes ( his own ballad "Julian", remixed here into a great house track ) and songs that you just don't hear down at your local disco ( the fabulous "the Dealer"). This is not your everyday DJ mix. And George freely admits that in the liner notes, which to some could be seen as a kind of musical snobery, but in this case he is justifiably proud of this mix.
Massive CD, gets better with every listen.......2004-04-19
I bought this CD for the hell of it, not knowing anything about what to expect. I heard Boy George was DJing and heard a small clip of a remix he was doing and was quie impressed so I picked this up. I must say I was quite pleasantly surprised, this CD has too many high points to list, it's strong from beginning to end, which is rare for any CD, even compilations. The mixing is nearly flawless, I can't stop listening to it. Everytime I hear it, I have to go out and dance, it's the perfect mood setting CD. Definite buy!!!!
GREAT DJ!!.......2003-06-07
Boy George is a way better DJ than any of you can imagine. He's good at creating a mood, whether it's housey, progressive, or downtempo BG can rock the tables. He has obviously been involved in the dance scene for a long time so he knows what he likes and that's important in a DJ. I recommend this CD to anyone who likes dance music in any way, shape, or form.
Man, was I surprised..........2002-10-21
Boy George had been to Twilo (NYC) once but I didn't check him out. After listening to his ESSENTIAL MIX album on Launch, I decided to buy it and I enjoyed it because it was different from a lot of the albums/tracks I'm used to. After reading the reviews for this album, I was shocked to hear that he had switched or at least for this album, to house music. House being my preferred choice of electronica music especially progressive house, I bought this album as well. Listened to its entirety last night while cruising in NYC, the ablum is lack for a better phrase "The Bomb!" and what I mean is that this album was/is REAL good. Anyone and everyone who likes house music will definitely like this album. Don't let the name Boy George throw you off, although, he uses his own vocals in a few songs, the music is a blast to listen to. I will bet any amount of money if you let you friends listen to this album and ask if they like it, they will definitely say yes but when you tell them it's by Boy George, they'll be in shock just like my brother was. I actually wanted to go clubbing last night because of music.
<=oP What are you waiting for?? Buy the CD!!
I had no idea the boy could spin like this.......2002-09-12
For years now I've been hearing that Boy George was spinning, & I was scared ta death to give him a whirl. To be honest, I didn't know what to expect. I bought this because I read a review that gave it 4 stars and concluded with the following statement: "More than anything, this perfect timing and grasp of tension and release showcases how much Boy George continues to evolve as a DJ, from a one-time novelty to a professional talent."
With such a good review and knowing how I love progressive house, I decided to give this mix a try. And child, I'm sure glad that I did! A few of the songs had me jumping through da roof! Not only was I shocked at how well the boy could mix, but also at the selection of more obscure tracks that one doesn't find on yer average compilation. There are some kick... songs with a beat that will make ya jump to yo' feet. If this doesn't make ya wanna dance than "bang, bang--you're dead!" Or maybe you should try one of those top 40 loser dance CD's.
