Coming straight from the club dance floors, World Groove has little for the ethnic purist, but a lot for those who like their dance beats peppered with exotic world flavors. Many artists are actually from indigenous locales but all the music is filtered through remixes and urban grooves. This is an excellent album. While a couple of the songs tend to veer too much into Sade-style pop tunes, most of it represents a perfect combination of groovy electric beats with world flavors. A must!

world groove will move you.......1998-07-12

World Groove is a refreshing change to the monotony of today's pop music. It presents us with world beats which are sexy and moving. Namely the Jah Wobble track, and tracks 2-4. Impress your friends with a new style. Highly enjoyable.
