James Taylor is none other than half of Swayzak. Since 1998 this English duo has been servicing the global electronic music scene with their deep, groovy and minimal sound. With four albums under their belt already, varying from the subtle high-quality house of Snowboarding In Argentina (1998) and Himawari (2000) to the more pop sound of Dirty Dancing (2002) and Loops From The Bergerie (2004), this double-team have always been guided by their desire to make their recordings elegant and precise.
More intimate than recent Swayzak productions, Carthage Milk takes us back to the style of their first studio album, Snowboarding In Argentina, the album that has charmed us with its pure and rolling grooves. With a touch of house and deep ambience, James Taylor gives us a more personal sound. The beautifully produced techno, seasoned gently with dub, makes this album unforgettable with synthetic warmth.

Customer Reviews:
I loved it!.......2006-11-25
I wasn't sure what to expect since there are no customer reviews, but I gave it a go because I like to take chances.
I wasn't disappointed. This album, in my opinion is very fluid. It's perfect for listening to on a rainy afternoon, yet it's beats make it a perfect choice for the gym or driving in car down the interstate.
The highlights in my opinion are both the opening and closing tracks. 'Take me or break me' is my favorite, the string arrangement is beautiful. The opening track is equally great. 'Jackflap' is a single, I believe, and it's good too.
There are no vocals on this album, unlike 'Dirty dancing' but the album creates an amazing ambience for a party. It's worth it's price tag. If you are a fan of minimal dance music, you won't be disappointed. I also recommend Swayzak's 'Dirty Dancing'. Other Swayzak releases are good, but 'dancing' is their best so far.
