Bedroom Communities 02: ReLounge

Editorial Reviews

Product Description
Kriztal Entertainment introduces the follow-up to the super-sexy Bedroom Communities 01 - Pillow Talk and with ReLounge, they take things up a notch in tempo, but not too far resulting in an exciting mix of rare classics, current favorites and obscure, never-before-released gems for those aprés amour hours.

Tastily compiled and mixed by Germany's DJ Monophonic (formerly Label Manager and A&R for the now-defunct, uber-cool Mole Listening Pearls label), ReLounge is guaranteed to soothe but also stimulate (you can't stay in bed ALL day!) Bedroom Communities 02: ReLounge is a super-hip collection of artists and tracks such as Innerzone Orchestra (Carl Craig's jazz/techno alter-ego), Manzel (remixed here by Kenny Dope), Olli Ahvenlahti (a Finnish jazz classic from the 1970's re-released here on Jazzpuu from Helsinki), RAS (from Jazzanova's label and DJ melting pot, Sonar Kollektiv), Aim (from Rae & Christian's Grand Central label) and Ralph Myerz & The Jack Herren Band (whose track Nikita was used for the VW Passat campaign) to name but a few.

5 out of 5 stars Chill stirred with funky beats.......2003-10-24

From the opening notes of "People Make the World Go Round" through the last song "Mysterious Eyes" this CD grooves. It's soo different from all the rest of the chillout noise that's out there. Some real songs and phat beats with vocalists that care about what they're singing about. Imagine that! A very worthwhile listen from beginning to end.
