I've been eyeing this CD for a while after exploring the LEA label, having been introduced to it through Sven Van Hees' album "Gemini." The two artists, Van Hees and Plastyc Buddha have all the similarities you might expect from two recording comrades, but Buddha brings a more downtempo, jazzy feel to the bossa percussives that he and Van Hees hold similar. This album from the outset is simply incredible. There are no awkward transitions between songs and each is both mellow and uplifting at the same time, the kind of album that you can listen to multiple times... consecutively. Buddha can be found on VA compliations, notably, Lounge Deluxe 3 (incredible) and Supperclub Vol. 3. I'm sure his name pops up elsewhere. I will use his name as a guide when looking for more music down this alley.
A highly recommended album. Get it while you can.
