what a CD, simply blew me off my feet. Disc 2 keeps u spellbound..The price is worth just for this disc itself. i just keep listening to this Disc all the time in the car..Disc 3 is pretty good too.

worth it for the after hours cd.......2004-10-23

Disc 1 is really for house fans only; it's not a particularly intersting mix, with Hernan Cattaneo's "Deep Funk" and Timo Maas' "Ubik - The Dance" the only real standouts.

Disc 2 is packed full of distinctive Perfecto trance anthems, that are fast paced and melodic. Some (eg. "Bullet in the Gun") are perhaps getting a bit stale and overused nowadays, but other classics like "Resurrection" and the Tiesto mix of "Flesh" work well and keep the mix nice and fun.

Disc 3 is a real gem!! It's a seamlessly blended, smooth package of mellow feelgood chills and warm after hours beats. Track selection on this disc is superb; with Jan Johnson's "Silent" Words and Liquid State's dreamy "Falling" sitting neatly alongside a gritty mix of "The Word" and the ubiquitous "Adagio for Strings". Definitely the highlight of the set, it always seems to find its way back into my CD player for a spin.

I was under the impression the CD set is mixed by Paul Oakenfold when I bought it. It turns out it was done by someone else, even the mastering!!! I don't really know what is his involvement in this. The tracks are ok, so is the mixing. Sorry guys, I have to say it is NOT a must have item.

perfecto does it again.......2002-08-15

This is one one those cd sets you'd have to get if your a big oakenfold fan. In my own words cd1 is more old school oakenfold from his days at Ibiza in 98-99. cd2 comes off a little bit newer 12 inches from around the day of 99-00, and cd3 has a more newer sound of oakey's more recent tunes from present day. over all a very good 3 cd set from perfecto a must get for Oakey headz!

Just finished doing a freestyle (improv) step / Kwando routine to the entire first CD, awesome songs, great mixing, cheese-free !!

This goes to the top of the workout/dance list, replacing Fortier , Kleinenberg, and Chris Cox.
