Not impressed.......2003-11-25

I was not terribly impressed with this CD. Fortunately, I decided to get it from the library to see if it was good before deciding whether or not to buy it.

Although the orchestration of the songs is well done, most of them simply were not meant to be performed by a chorus; and they sound terrible in that form. If you want some of the songs on this CD, I suggest you look at one of Disney's compilation CDs in the Classic Disney Vol. 1-5 series or the actual soundtracks of the movies.

Inexorable wonder!.......2001-06-23

Where to start?! Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra have had a track record for recording some of the most stupendous movie music ever. Magical Musicals is just another example of how audaciously bold, yet beautiful Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops have taken the original scores, molded them into the same pieces, yet at the same time, creating life of their own in each and every note. If you are looking for ANY soundtrack containing Disney music, this should be the first CD you listen to. There are others out there, and yes, they may sound beautiful and enchanting, but you won't find such a unique and compelling score anywhere else other than this CD. Check it out!!

This is quite a good CD despite some of the other reviews.

It starts of with the radio edit and then starts The Lmc Extended Vocal Mix is probably my least favourite. The synthesiser sounds like it is talking (: "bodies like, bodies like, bodies like etc.) which can gat annoying as it repeats throughout the song. The Original Extended Vocal Mix is quite good, it is very similar to track two, though it is not as remixed in the vocal parts. The Flower Power Club Mix proves that this song doesn't need vocals to be good! It is one of my favourites and the absolute original. The final track is entitled the Afterlife Lounge Mix which is my definate favourite it is very chillout and it a different style to all of the above: It is not as danceable.
This CD peaked at #20 in Australia and #7 in UK, and #2 in Scotland - and it is quite a good CD. I got what I expected.

Great, danceable Song, Mediocre single..........2004-12-21

I think this song has so much remixability, but this single seems only to provide different lengths of the same track. There is one remix (The AFTERLIFE LOUNGE mix) that is a fun contrast to the song, but other than that the only novelty you will find on this single is the instrumental version that you can sing along with. I gave it 4 stars because the song is so danceable and catchy. I docked it a star for the variety it lacks.

Still forgetable.......2004-12-19

"You Won't Forget About Me" is a good track but there is something missing... I think because the video is crap. Next time... Dannii should choose a more deserving DJ to collaborate with. Honestly, this song will be easily forgotten after a while. Even the remixes doesn't sound very catchy. Anyway, I'll try to enjoy listening to this cd while it's still new. I was probably expecting too much after the success of her album "Neon Nights".

I thought this was out of print, but like the title says, I found it for ($7.99) at a Tower Records in Memphis, Tenessee, on Thursday. Great remixes. I recommend it.

unforgettable.......2005-09-01

First off this single was really hard to find... but when I saw they had both versions CD 1 and CD 2... I didn't think twice before buying it. Of course I bought this one.

1) Radio Edit - The first sentence I can't tell what she is saying but the rest is awesome, great beat, vocals, rhytms, everything kicks butt!

2) LMC Remix - I think it has the same beats and everything from the radio edit so I think it's more of an extended mix but I love it.

3) Afterlife Remix- this is like an acoustic version of the song, love it, it sounds like it was meant to be a ballad but it kicks ass like a dance track too.

4) Basscore Remix - THUMP, THUMP, THUMP, THUMP, GREAT REMIX!

5) Instrumental - Love it! You can just dance to it and sing to it too!

6) Kenny Hayes Remix - It starts off a little bland but turns into a great remix!

Dannii is just as talented as Kylie and I think both are different artists and they are both great! So I think people should give Dannii some credit for being talented as her sister! They should so a duet!

buying this version of the single is best because you get five different remixes and the video which is fabulous she looks great in it. plus i don,t think her and kylie sound that much alike as many like to say

I love this song! Dannii's got a great voice, she sounds a lot like Kylie only higher. I am a huge Kylie fan, and I'm glad to see her little sis is finally getting noticed with this song and "Neon Nights". Go Dannii!

Great buy!.......2005-04-03

This single is a great buy for the value and tracks on it! You get the original instrumental version with just FlowerPower's music playing and no singing, the original radio edit, backed up Dannii's very talented vocals, the video plus four more very great remixes featuring a nice chilled-out remix by Afterlife, an extended version by LMC (probably my favourite), Another up-tempo remix by Basscore and a trance-like remix by Kenny Hayes. Highlights include radio version, LMC remix and the instrumental aswell as the video.

Dannii's new album is due for release in Spring 2005 and will include this hit (#7 in the UK Charts). Remixes sent the single straight to the top of the US Billboard charts!
