Cuando ordene el CD, sabia por la cancion que estan pasando en la radio "Todo Cambio" que por lo menos una cancion buena tenia, pero cuando lo escuche completo...me impresiono que es uno de los pocos CD's que no tiene cancion mala; todas las canciones son espectaculares, las letras y la variedad de ritmos, hacen que sea un MUST HAVE!! Sencillamente ESPECTACULAR!!

que onda gente, bueno llo primero escuche la cancion de "Abrazame" y me gusto mucho y luego escuche la de "Coleccionista de canciones" entonces luego baje la cancion le les mensione al principio, y pues la escuche todos los dias, y despues, baje todo el cd, y me incontre con una joya de cd, todas las canciones estas bien chidas, especialmente la de "Todo cambio" bueno compren este cd esta de pelos, nada parecido a esto, bueno reik pero este cd es 10 mejor que el de reik, ok gracias leer,

I usually don't do this - type up reviews, but this CD is worth taking the time to rave about and going out and purchasing! It is worth every single dollar!!! You can listen to it over and over and over and not get tired of it. Beautiful lyrics, great music, an overall hit! I have officially become a CAMILA fan!!!

When I first heard "abrazame" i laughed because it sounded like girls singing softly...but anyways i liked the song, and when I downloaded it, I also downloaded "Coleccionista de canciones" Wow that song really shocked me since I first heard it! Beautiful lyrics! Then, I decided to download the whole album, WOW, is the only thing I can say...beautiful songs like Sin tu amor, Me basto, Todo cambio,Me da igual, and my personal favorite, perderte de nuevo, show a group that can really sing. Lovely lyrics in those songs. In "va para ti" you hear a very rock but cool Camila. The songs that I think are no that great are No quiero, u got my love and nanga ti feo, the rest are all future radio hitss!!! I was really surprise with this group, and I am now a big Fan.

Don't know what he's singing about but he IS singing @}->---.......2006-08-05

As a long time fan of Marc Anthony, I have all of his cds. I love his voice because while it's powerful, it's also smooth and heavenly. I love all of his work, but there is something about him singing in spanish. It's obviously so natural to him and he's at his best then. Not that I know what he's singing about, but the songs are so stunning and beautiful - it almost doesn't matter.
On here, the two standout songs are Te Conozco Bien and a beautiful ballad Hasta Ayer. I love to listen to this often because it's soothing after a long day. While I do wish he'd release more english speaking albums, again, I think he's at his best singing spanish. Pick this up if you are a salsa or a Marc Anthony fan. It's amazing.

Best Album by Marc Anthony.......2005-10-27

I originally purchased this tape over eight years ago. I had a super long commute and it never left my car. Now that I no longer have a commute, or a tape deck in my truck for that matter, I decided to purchase the CD for in home use. And USE it I do. There are not a lot of songs on the CD but as the old saying goes its quality not quantity that counts. I own other Marc Anthony CD's but this is, by far, the best.

I truly don't know how ANY Marc Anthony CD can go unnoticed---particularly the Spanish language albums. This man is truly one of the greatest salseros of today. He mixes his own funky, fresh flavor with traditional salsa coros and beautiful orchestration (due in no small part to Sergio George, one of the greatest Latin music producers today).

This album starts off on a high and energetic note with "Se Me Sigue Olvidando." I love the piano intro! It only gets better from there. Some of his most well-loved salsa tunes are front and center on this CD. They include "Te Conozco Bien," "Nadie Como Ella," and "Te Amare." There is also an achingly beautiful ballad in "Hasta Ayer." If anything, Marc needs to record more romantic ballads. I can guarantee you, that if he doesn't break your heart with his devestatingly beautiful vocals, the guitar riffs will melt even the iciest heart. Many of these songs are also featured on "Desde El Principio," a retrospective of Marc's great salsa career.

The best Marc Anthony album ever!.......2004-08-20

This is my very favorite Marc Anthony album. "Se Me Sigue Olvidando", "Te Amaré", and "Nadie Como Ella", are my three favorite songs on this album. None of his other albums could ever compare to this one.

Simply Wonderful MUSIC.......2004-03-24

"Todo sobre mi madre", is the perfect complement for the movie with the same name. Alberto Iglesias (Spain 1955) manages him self to create a superb Soundtrack that made us - all the ones that enjoyed the movie first than the audio CD - love and treasure this MUSIC. The perfect mix between the music and the movie is proven all over the film, since the beginning. The scene when the main character is going back to Barcelona, when the wise chosen "Ismael Lo" (Africa 1960) performs his Tajabone, was a breath taking moment for everyone at the movie theatre... we could hear the wows! coming out everyone's mouth, after the camera (and the music) flies over Barcelona and later on the typical architecture of the city. The rest of the music is just a very nice complement to the drama in the movie, but acts like another character too. Without this wonderful music we will have an empty movie. I strongly suggest this CD to any "Todo sobre mi madre" lover and/or an Iglesias (Talk to her, The red squirrel, Lovers of the artic circle, ...) followers...

More than a perfect musical framework.......2003-05-21

Not many times does a score or a soundtrack to a movie provide such an excellent framework to the movie it's meant to accompany. This work by long-time Pedro Almodovar collaborator, Alberto Iglesias, does just that and it is able to stand by itself as well. We own both the movie and the soundtrack, and watching one or listening to the other, years after the original release, still have a fresh feel. Both works, Almodovar's and Iglesia's, are able to stand the test of time, and Alberto Iglesia's works have a characteristic that allows you to almost "see" the song: they are packed with Spanish passion that you can feel whether you're sensitive about music or not. All in all, this soundtrack is one my alltime favorites. I highly recommend it.

I am a young male from New Jersey. I grew up entirely in English, and only recently have I found myself deeply engrossed in my Castilian studies of Spanish. I really owe it all to Todo Sobre Mi Madre. An absolutely, incredible film which takes you on a journey you will never forget, into the mind of its main protagonist, Manuela. On the emotional roller coaster that is Manuela's life we are accompanied by some of the most entrancing music I have ever heard. The simple meoldic hooks on the piano, the complex music of the violin, and the sound of Spain in the subtle guitar. The whole movie is an absolute feast for the senses, and the music is no exception. This soundtrack is wonderful, and I suggest it for all.

The secrets in a mother's heart.......2000-06-26

All about my mother is one of the best 1999 films. And so it's this soundtrack. Alberto Iglesias did a marvellous job turning into music the emotions of the film. The dramatic songs in this album certainly evoke a sense of longing present in the movie. Every one who loved this movie - the deepest, honest and maturest in Almodovar's career - must buy this CD.

La musica de Victor Manuelle es floja y no se puede clasificar como Salsa. En realidad es un sonsonete recyclado en cada disco. Como instructor de baile de salsa puedo decir que las personas se frustran tratando de bailar salsa con la musica de Victor Manuelle. Who's that CLOWN ("a music fan")??? How would you dare to compare marc anthony with Victor Manuelle???? If you are a tru salsa fan like you said you are, you wouldn't have said that marc anthony is better than Victor Manuelle or viceversa. Right there this clown showed his emotions before reasoning... can't compare... do you know what marc anthony does with his songs? do you know what a "sonero" is? Finally, do you know what SALSA is?

Don't Compare Apples With Oranges.......2001-10-09

There's a couple of reviews that are comparing Victor Manuelle and Marc Anthony. On what grounds is Marc Anthony a better salsero? Marc Anthony has more of a singing range than Victor Manuelle but has nothing of a "sonero". Victor Manuelle's music is more danceable and there are no soft slow stuff to skip on the discs. My point is that they have two different styles (both remarkable at it). Marc is more popular than Victor in the US. Victor is more popular than Marc in PR. Size (geographical)doesn't matter because obviously we all know where are the true salsa fans (P.R.). Sure Marc Anthony is probably more popular in China from a possible marketing advantage, but then again, how many people out there listen to salsa regularly.
Let me finally review this disc. Great sounding CD. Aggresive and danceable. Lost a star because of track 3 (fuchi)

Being Puerto Rican from San Juan and having that Rumba in the blood, I definetely think Victor Manuelle goes beyond Marc Anthony's "Americanized Salsa".Of course everybody knows that Marc Anthony sells more, but just because there is more marketing along his music, si eres Puertorriqueno de verdad tu sabes where the roots come from, and Victor Manelle puts it down in this CD like in all he has done...Que Viva Puerto Rico!!!gracias mil

This is the first recording I have ever heard of todo Panchos. However, it will not be the last one I will own. These gentleman are truly incredible. Their harmonies are beautiful and their voices smooth and passionate. This is a perfect recording for a romantic evening.

This compilation could be better.......2000-08-17

I love Los Panchos, they're a part of my childhood. Listening to their songs recently (ie when this CD arrived in the mail) I also realized how MUCH of their music is under my skin. However, this is not about Los Panchos, this is about this particular CD compilation.

I just wish that this CD had been packaged in a more sensitive or "celebratory" way. Maybe they could have ordered the songs cronologically or added more of the recordings made with Eydie Gorme. Maybe they could have had a side about "love lost" and another about "love found". They could have made more of an event of the CD and it's a shame because Los Panchos deserve better treatment and a lot more respect.

Sony should really take a page out the Rhino Records book. A few sleeve notes and photographs would have been cute. Something to make this more of "a guided tour". I don't NEED some complete stranger telling me I made a great choice by buying a record but it's nice reading bits of trivia about what you're listening to.

And what's this stuff about "LAS 24" great songs? Surely they wrote MORE than 24 good songs? ;)

I am a 35 yr old male who recently discovered this late great entertainer through a wonderful Spanish radio station (92.3 CLASSICA 92) that specializes in those great songs of yesteryear

this collection brings together all of the albums that Nino recorded during his all-too-brief lifetime. Passion and soul infuse every number....the songs are timeless ....

in this world of Britneys and Justins and Jessica Simpsons sadly topping the charts....it is nice to have recordings like these to show us that having a voice and being able to actually sing a song without any "machine support" is what its all about

Nino was a true class act and his musical legacy will always live on.....buy this compilation you will not be disappointed

He was,and still is, the greatest spanish crooner of all times. A particular vision of the music, full of passion and great voice, from a talented singer and musician. Unfortunately,life didn't give him any opportunity to share his talent to the rest of the world, but his music is still alive, now and forever.
