Product Description
The Mancunian duo of Andy Chester and David Luke release their second album with the legendary John Leckie co-producing. They've already been hailed as 'the new Radiohead', and the album is one of the most original releases this year. Tesla. 2005.
Im a 23years-old-boy from Milan who listen a lot of music since I was inside my mom :-)
I've bought something like 1000 CDs and now it's REALLY HARD to me to find something "fresh" for my ears.
Well, that album is what I was looking for in the last 5 months!
It's "weird" but enjoyable
It sounds rock but doesn't forget what effects and synth are
It sometimes sounds "Beetles"
It sometimes sounds "Zeppelin"
It sometimes sounds "SloMo"
It sometimes sounds "Bethroom Rockers"
It sometimes sounds like a SpyFi Movie Soundtrack
It sometimes sounds "Classic"
And, most important, It always, always sounds good.
ANYWAY, I have to suggest that album only to trained and eclectic ears.
I was immediately fascinated by their music.
Simple rock music with virtuos playing by Dave Luke and amazing singing by Andrew Chester.
I immediately purchased this lovely album.
After lustenning a couple of times I can say that I enjoy the album very much.
The second song - "stumble" is just a great song. "Life" is an amazing song."The boy I used to be" is vey interesting and even a bit progressive like."Crystal clear" is also very powerfull.
"Over you" is also great.
"Pulling myself together" is more than 9 minutes long, and is really beautiful. It contains a long lovely instrumental number.
I can't really say what genre they are, but it's not very important - they are fresh, they are good and you should really try them.
