5 out of 5 stars modest and accomplished.......2002-10-10

This album won't surprise anyone already familiar with the NY scene of the early-mid 80s, but every track is an excellent example of its genre. Kurtis Mantronik has opted for tracks that were mostly successful in the club scene, and eschewed the train spotter's insatiable desire for "new" or "undiscovered" tracks. In the process he's compiled a great, happy party album that will bring back memories to those who were around the first time.
