i know i know. this is labeled Trance. but a lot of it isnt. but its still a great comp. many stand out songs. one of the best being Heaven sent (#16) many beautiful songs. one of of kind remixes. very energetic. love it.

You are correct. You can't call this music "trance." Yet that doesn't make it a bad CD at all. Most of the tracks are incredible. The remixes are one of a kind and very energetic. I highly recommend this CD.

It looks like Ministry of Sound compilations including this Trance Naions series have been invaded and corrputed by the cheese mongers.

Awful track selection which most of the tracks arent even trance, a terrible and sad era for MOS and MOS compilations.

I should have read the reviews before buying this CD set. I figured 2 discs, some fam names, 40 tracks, how bad could this be. Well...its bad. This is more like Trance Nation 2001. Almost all old tracks. Im in NY and even our Radio stations played out these tracks in 2002. This more like pop, fast fwded. One track has a girls vocals about her childhood in chipmunk voice (not kidding). I only liked 2 tracks from scooter and tiesto. I have trance cds from 1997 that put this CD to shame. My 3rd & last dissapointment with MOS so called trance collection. ticked... off in NY for spening [$+].

Beautiful.......2005-11-19

This was, simply, the greatest album I have ever purchased. It would be worth what I paid had it cost a hundred times what it did.

The first CD of this two CD set begins with DJ Sammy's immensely popular Heaven and moves from strength to strength. The first disc is a pleasure from start to finish with excellent tracks like The Way, Because the Night, Rhythm is a Dancer, 4 O'clock in the Morning and, my personal favourite, Look @ Me Now. To name every good track on this first CD would, quite literally, be naming them all.

The second CD is not as good as the first CD but it can't be expected for anything to come near the first disc's perfection. That is not to say that the second disc is not good; rather, it is excellent! With tracks like Whoomp!, U Shine On, Southern Sun, When You're Gone and Far From In Love how could it ever be considered bad?

All in all Trance Nation 2003 is the best album. Ever. It stands out amongst other albums because it not only has good music, it has ONLY good music. Although the name "Trance" Nation may be misleading, it has a place of honour in my collection. Anyone thinking of buying any kind of electronic dance music should look no further than Trance Nation 2003.

You call this Trance???!.......2004-01-13

This 2CD so called "Trance Nation" can't be rated properly because none of the songs are Trance except Scooter and "the Theme" which were not too bad. "Rhythm is a Dancer" was a good song. But The rest was just too out of the category I shall just give them all a 0. Too many random songs from the 80's and 90's I don't even know what to say. (sigh) Oh well, I guess I'll say good bye to Trance! :(

Great Purchase.......2002-12-17

I've never been able to get a Trance Nation Cd in my area, yet I saw this one copy behind the counter of my local music store and immediately snatched it up at a bargain price of $$$!! Wonderful compilation for the trance fan, although I can't compare it to the others that have come before. I highly reccomend this CD.
