This boxed set is by far one of the best purchases I have ever made. As a Purcell freak, this hits every button I have. The cast of characters include the inequitable Robert King, New College Choir, Bowman, and a host of other venerable persons. Likewise the attention to period performance of these works makes it an essential addition to the library of any serious anglophile/Musicologist etc. Now if only the Britten Realizations of all Purcell's songs could be recorded alongside the originals! You will Love this set!

A must have for all "D-II" fans and bassheads alike.This is one my most favorite bass albums of all time.The tracks lacks the technoish monotony that most other bass artists produce especially during the time this album was published.I recommend collecting all of their albums if you love electrobass;(Color Beats,Machine Language,The Album,Bass Planet,etc).David Noller has even worked with other groups producing some devastating tracks.If you see their name,BUY IT!Do not pass up the chance to get one if you see it because they are hard to find.
