I first heard the Drummer Boy track 3 days ago in a bar. It was late and we were all full of cheer. I was overjoyed to hear a Xmas Jimi track. I am buying this just find to that space in my head every Xmas. Sure the CD doesn't have much, but $6.49 is not much these days either, and iTunes doesn't have it.

I bought this CD when I spotted it Christmas shopping one day because I wanted to kind of "stir things up" a bit and add some novelty and variety to the usual repetitive selection of Christmas songs that get played in my family around this time of year.

But I was highly disappointed to find that this so-called "Hendrix Christmas Album" that the store had a big sign up promoting actually only consists of 3 songs, 2 of which are in fact the exact same medley played twice in different takes, and with the remaining song having absolutely nothing to do with Christmas.

I feel very ripped off and feel like I payed the price of an album just to get one so-so song.

Don't be as dumb as me.

I bought this CD a week ago and have been listening to it non-stop since. Nobody combines electronic music with didgeridoos, sitars, and ethereal vocals like these guys. Each song builds to it's particular frequency- and so does the album. Each track gets progessively more beat-driven and the effect is awesome. With the exception of a couple chill-out tracks, by the end of the CD you'll feel like a tribal warrior dancing on the eve of your greatest conquest. Ok that might be a little over the top. I'm not a "flying person" like the producer says but I got pretty close flying down the freeway at around 100mph listening to this CD. ... Seriouly- if you like Thievery Corporation, Kruder and Dorfmeister, Govinda, etc.- you'll dig this. Give it a listen.

Love the song, love the band.......2003-08-26

The first time I heard "Back at the Ranch" my life was crazy. I was constantly going, doing this and that, and worried about everything. Then I heard this song making fun of me and telling me how simple and sweet life could be and should be. I fell so in love with this song I had to see the band. Then I met these powerfully talented, genuinely nice guys, and I knew they were meant for greatness. No matter what's been done to them, these guys will fulfill thier destiny. The good guys always win.

Give this CD a try and you'll love it. I've seen this group perform twice in Colorado Springs, once as an opener for Aaron Tippin and once in their own concert, and they're absolutely great. I predict thses 6 brothers will eventually make it to the big time.

I heard these guys at our county fair just a couple of days ago, and I must say some of their songs were very, very good. One of them, which is going to be on their new cd coming out on Sept.4, I predict will go to #1 on the country charts and be an overall hit with all music fans, of all ages. These are a very talented group of brothers that are not only great musicians, but songwriters as well.

Not the same old, same old.......2001-06-03

I bought this single because I heard "Back at the Ranch" on the radio and got it stuck in my head and just had to have more!! "Back at the Ranch" is a very upbeat song about taking time to smell the roses in this hectic world. I dare anyone to listen to it and NOT sing along. The brothers show their incredible singing and playing skills on "Restless" as well. This is a very cool single!!!!!!!!!

The blend of the family hamonies is awesome and the playing of their insturments is amazing. The Clarks have their own musial groove which gives a different, but cool vibe to country music. These guys are extremely talented and geniunely nice. Plus, they're very good looking!
