Editorial Reviews
Carl Cox needs little introduction; the man has been at the forefront of the global dance scene for over twenty years. From the early orbital UK raves of the 80s through to the international club scene of today, he has consistently rocked the party with energy, passion and a commitment that few others can come near to matching. This is the first label compilation from Intec Records and marks five years of landmark releases.
Intec Records was set up by DJs Carl Cox and DJ C1 in 1999 to capture and represent the blossoming international techno and house scenes. Eschewing a defined sound in favor of an open-minded agenda, Intec was quick to pick up on the cream of upcoming international producers such as Christian Smith, John Selway, Bryan Zentz, Deetron, Oxia, Trevor Rockcliffe and Marco Bailey. This international outlook has given the label a loyal fanbase across the globe and has resulted in sell out Intec shows and an insatiable appetite for Intec releases.
Pure Intec includes seminal tunes such as Tomaz & Filterheadz Sunshine which has sold well over 25,000 copies worldwide and Trevor Rockcliffes "Visions Of You" plus underground delights from Bryan Zentz, Christian Smith & John Selway, and Valentino Kanzyani.
